Read before quest: bring a bullseye lantern (buy from ge if possible), so you won't have to leave the ship when you get the emerald. If you accidently put the emerald into the lantern without oil, just drop the lantern, talk to the cabin boy again and you'll get a new emerald. Great guide as always though :) Little edit over 2 years later: If you see any of Slayermusiq1's guides have more than maybe 5-10% dislikes, check the comment section because people probably got stuck at one point during the quest and shared that information, allowing you NOT to get stuck there, too. :)

For anyone wondering about the lamp and can't figure it out, outside the ship is a basket of green apples, take a swamp tar from the basket on the left. Next, go to Remington where the chemist is. On the southwestern corner of the room there is a lamp oil still. Use your swamp tar on the still. Next, put the emerald on your lantern and use the lantern on the still. While you're still there, use your tinderbox and light the lantern. Congratulations, you made it. :)

Read before starting the quest! Guide is not broken, works perfect, please see below!! Note: you will convert your dramen staff to a Lunar staffduring the quest! During the quest you can't travel with your Lunar staff by using the fairy ring system till after completion of the quest! - Dont take armour or food with you at the start! When you need them there will be a bank! - To get to Rellekka for the first time to start the quest you can also use "Fairy ring AJR" But later in the quest u convert your Dramen staff into a Lunar staff and then to get back you can't use a Fairy ring. You will need another Dramen staff to use fairy rings(Not sure if this works cause i only had one!), so use a tele to your house or walk from Camelot.. - bring oil or a "Bullseye lantern" (I bought one for 4k GE), if you brought the Bullseye lantern use the emerald lens on the lantern to get a Emerald lantern. If you use it on the lantern he gives you, you'll need the oil. You can drop it and talk to the boy again to get another lens to use it on the oil filled one you bought on the GE. - 17:00 when killing the Suqah, you can do 3 hits(I used a whip), flick protect from melee and repeat - 36:00 If you forget to wear EVERYTHING (I forgot the staff -.-) You will stay in the room with the brazier and have to get the Kindling and potion again from the lady at the Astral altar. Use the potion again on the kindling so they are soaked and use them on the Brazier again. Make sure you have at least 4 emty slots, you dont need much food, 4 summer pies should be more then enough. Only one test can damage you. And at the end you have to fight a "lvl 79 ME" which can be safespotted. It took me only six fire blasts to take him out. - 48:45 with the puzzel with the stepping stones, maybe its just chance but I had the exact same path so maybe try this one first: (Please comment if this helped you!) XOXX XOOX XXOX XOOX OOXX OXXX OOOX XXOX - It took me 1 hour 45 minutes to complete this so be sure you have enough time!! This quest takes like for ever... pff glad i completed it, thanx for the guide, the rest was spot on!

Little update, I'm in the middle of the quest right now and the pattern of the puzzle (where you have to jump on those floating platforms) is not the same for me. Failed in the first jump. Maybe there are premade patterns and you just managed to get the same one as hime.

BEFORE YOU START: bring a bullseye lantern with oil already in it to avoid the missing bit about the oil. just use the emerald lens on the finished lantern and it will already have oil

Does a bullseye lantern already have it in it when you buy it?

For anyone trying to save some inventory space, you can just use an elemental talisman instead of bringing 4 separate talismans.

I just want to let you know as someone who just got back into Osrs a month ago you've helped me so much.. I was never big on questing back in the day but I'm almost to a quest cape now. Thanks for making questing fun.

Read before quest: Like others said, you need lamp oil for this quest, however if you do not want to get the oil you can also bring a Bullseye lanter and then simply replace the latern lence with the emerald one by using it on the bullseye latern.

After completion of the fremennik trials quest you can enchant your magical lyre at the river south of Rellekka (costs 1 raw manta I think) and you get a lyre (4) -> to teleport to Rellekka

I love when you're going through the agility course, and it never ends. You just stand there. After 30 min it logged me out. Awesome.

For anyone who got stuck on how to light the lamp you need swamp tar and go to remington and use the swamp tar on the lamp oil still inside the chemistry house then use the lamp on the oil still and you can now light the emerald lamp.

For anyone that can't use redirection scrolls, you can use the fairy ring DKS to tele just east of relleka! Then if you have 57 agility jump the broken fence to the left by the mining sign.

Thank you for explaining that all the dice on the screen need to add up to the number. You're the only guide I found that made that clear. I thought I just had to keep kicking dice until the numbers I got on each individual roll cumulatively added up to the number given. You get a like from me for that.

Such good videos, i remember when i was a kid i watched quest lady but even she left her mistakes in the videos, thank you for taking the time to make the videos perfect, much appreciated.

Use it with your swamp tar and USE your lamp on it. YOU;re Welcome.

im glad i read the comments before starting the quest there are more of his guides that he leaves out little parts that will cost you some time but no one is perfect he is by far the best guide for quest on youtube he deserves alot more subs than he has right now that is forsure but a good tip is to always read the comments before starting a hard/long quest just to get a better idea of what he might of left out

eating a piece of food after you finish a game in the dream cancels the animation of your character falling and having to get up. eat and your character automatically stands up.

Aww, I finished the quest just yesterday, where was your guide when I needed it. Anyways, thanks for making the best guides out there!

OIL FOR LAMP IS NEEDED TO DO QUEST! Swamp Tar to Chemist in Rimmington with the Lamp. Use swamp tar on still, then use lamp on still. POSSIBLE FINAL FIGHT BUG FIX: After trying to fight "me" 10-20 times in a row, it fading scene, then throwing me back to same spot. I pressed option number 2 saying "I think i need more time". After that, i tried again and pressed option 1, "Of course im ready" and it put me right in! Quick way to Rellekka Ring of Wealth to Misc, Run 3 seconds to Dock South East, Travel to Rellekka. Hope it Helps.

Sick I never though I'd get this done thank you for the guide! I found that if your screen goes white but doesnt teleport you near the end just walk a square or two and then re talk to the guy it worked for me

for the part you need oil, you can use the lantern lens Cabin Boy gives you on the sapphire lantern from Tears of Guthix quest! just take the sapphire out, put emmy lens in and light it! or buy a lantern with oil from ge.. theres 2, just buy 1 of each til it works.. for iron men... wiki it :p

48:41 If you're using runelite, you can also use ground marker for objective. Then you dont need to use notepad. Just mark every right objective after jump.

if you use runelite for the dream puff section, you can shift-right click to mark the correct puff to jump to.

At 49:45 just mark the tiles with Runelite. Makes your life a lot easier

to be completely honest though, this is one of your lower quality guides. it's lacking a few bits of important information but obviously it's hard to remember every little bit while you're doing it. I still thumbs up and wicked appreciate it tho. maybe add an annotation for people to bring an oil filled bullseye lantern at the beginning and do we have to click through each of the option to make the armour? it's somewhat unclear. still like I said, love your guides don't know what I would do without you man!❤❤❤❤❤💩

Just letting you know that can in fact fail the agility obstacle 3 times and still win, I just did it, he was 1 square away from the finishing platform by the time i got there so it is possible as I just did it. Thanks for your guide, great guide and really helpful!

So im on the final fight with lunar diplomacy, or trying to get there at least... I can't get the fight sequence to start no matter what i do. Every time i talk to the character in the middle he asks if im ready, after saying yes my screen starts to enter the cut screen like its going to go into the fight, but then just reverts back and the fight doesn't start? Ive tried everything i can think of, ive dropped all my weapons/runes and all non quest essential pieces... anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Note: You must be on regular spellbook to do the LAST test! I was on ancients, and was not teleported to the boss fight.

In order to make the lantern after you put the emerald in it asks for oil in order to light it. I teled to falador and went south with swamp tar in order to make the oil for it.

you can also teleport to rellekka by using an enchanted lyre which is acquired in the fremmenik trials quest

BRING "BULLSEYE LANTERN" NOT "unf" use the emerald on it to replace the lens

If you are using runelite, you can "Mark Object" the Dream Puffs from the maze platform test instead of using a notepad :)

Another teleport also for rellekka is if you have a (enchanted lyre) charged , least mine teleports me right to entrance .

In my opinion this is the best quest (I did all quests, so I can compare it to others). I absolutely love it, the story is very interesting and deep.

Can also replace the Rellekka tele with slayer ring teleport (Rellekka slayer cave) or fairy ring (Code: AJR) just outside of the slayer cave, hope this helps :)

you can also superheat the ore, instead of porting out to relekka to smelt it

It worked fine for me. Granted this is two years later

"You don't need your armor anymore", I proceeded to die running to the mine in 3 hits for a combined 33 hp. Btw, you don't get to reclaim ANY of the quest items from death's domain, I already had the staff and 7 of 8 clothing pieces

You can use the green lens the cabin boy gives you on the sapphire lantern u make during the tears of guthix quest.

It says nothing interesting happens when I try to use emerald lens on lanntern ???

"deposit everything" bruh you should've said "everything EXCEPT FOR THE SEAL.." i got kicked off bc i forgot to take it back out and had to grab something else from my bank. Just adds another 5mins to get back there lol

I HIGHLY highly recommend using the quest helper in runelite, you don't even have to think. Especially how old this quest guide is.

If you have runelite, you can mark the tiles of the correct Dream puffs, to help aid your path instead of the notepad method
