Uptycs Inc I would love to see more on the configuration options. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do like a remote query or query from a python script

Cody, we'll definitely see about covering more on configuration options in a future video. Doing remote queries with osquery is a bit more complicated -- there are docs on a lot of the component pieces on the osquery documentation site -- you need to set up a way to push configurations to the endpoint, and then listen remotely for the results. Some links to get started are here: osquery.readthedocs.io/en/stable/deployment/configuration/ and osquery.readthedocs.io/en/stable/deployment/remote/ . However, this is also why we founded Uptycs - to make deploying osquery at scale easy and painless, so you can recognize the value without having to do a bunch of work. If you'd be interested in hearing more about our solution, let us know.
