This judo training video teaches the Osoto Gari Technique.
Enjoy this excerpt from THE ULTIMATE TACHI WAZA COURSE from JudoFanatics.com.
Judo Fanatics was started by a pair of black belts (Bernardo Faria & Michael Zenga) who feel that nothing is more important than improving your Judo skills as much as possible in the least amount of time. Their aim was to create a shop for Judo Students who don’t look at Judo as a sport - but as a lifestyle.

I've only been to five or so classes but I must have tried this twenty bloody times during randori with experience judoka and every-single-time I've landed on my back. This is so helpful. Foot parallel with uki's, hip doesn't go past uki's, toes pointing away and sweep with a powerful straight leg. Maybe next time I'll surprise them.

This was great instruction. I feel like I can throw someone now... I love how you explain why you do something, that is such a great quality in a teacher.

This is great. I learned from a book as a teen this may favorite move from Judo. I made the mistake always bring the hip past opponents hip. Only works if opponent doesn't pay attention or adjusts and leverages back - ie, power against power. This is great technique he is showing thank you guys.

I think the best instruction / break down of this throw yet. I think the advanced Judoka (nidan+) will develop personal variations to these throw components, to match their body type and fighting style, but the elements of breaking uke's balance and sweeping without planting sweep foot are critical. Where are all the USA Judoka in major matches lately? Not seeing any... Why?

[Hello, I was researching counterattacks and came across a technique called ashi-makkomi, and kaeshi-waza applied against soto-gari. But it was a drawing and I couldn't decipher it. Is there any way to demonstrate it: if you know it?]
