Every tribe in Africa; the Gas, Ewes, Yorubas, Igbos, etc. claims to be the original people from Canaan , through Kermit , Mali empire, great Zimbabwe, etc. These claims of individualism and exclusivity make it possible for our defeat and displacement thousands of years by the Assyrians not the Romans. The Romans did not control Kermit until the fall of the Greeks in Kermit. The Romans were the last invaders to occupy Kermit in the pre Islamic era. Then came the Islamic invasions that took over Kermit but failed in Nubia , ie present day Sudan, and Ethiopia. Elder your knowledge is just part of the story of all black peoples, the chosen people, so making it an Akan exclusive narrative is far from right. Let’s continue putting the bits and pieces together and all shall come to light.

Finally, somebody is speaking sense. I really don't get it why every tribe always tries to claim they are the only people that should be viewed as the true original people from Kemet. Truly now I understand why the invaders were successful at winning against us at almost every turn. Every tribe wants to take credit for every good thing that has happened in our ancient past. And if you pay attention, every bad thing is attributed to any other tribe that is different from their own. Our historians have got to do better than this. I think the young generations should step in.

''Asara (Terah) was a priest of Lamurudu (Nimrod) and had three sons. One of the three sons is known today to the Yoruba as Oduduwa (Abraham), and the other two, the kings of Gogobiri and Kukawa, are Nahor and Haran. Oduduwa, whose royal title was Ọlọfin, travelled to the land of Canaan where he met Agbọ-niregun (one of the appellations by which Ọrunmila is known to Ifa devotees) who taught Ifa to the former. It is believed that Ẹla’s (transliterated as El) first incarnation was as Ọrunmila. Asara is traditionally known as Oduduwa’s appointed priest in Mecca who extended the worship of multiple gods to the disdain of Moslems, who were at the time, subdued. Asara’s son, Braima, who was opposed to this practise, had caused a riot that led to the great exodus of Oduduwa and his kindreds to Ile Ife. This exodus is historically taken as the beginning of the Yoruba nation. As discussed by Samuel Johnson, one of the foremost writers on Yoruba history, Asara is most likely a Christian priest, not a Pagan. One of the reasons given is that his name shares striking semblance with the name Christians were been referred to in those days; Ansara, meaning, followers of Christ the Nazarene. The idols Asara commissioned his son, Braima to sell in the ‘mosque’, as told by Oral historians, could have been images of the saints, as Catholics may possibly do, and the mosque could have been an Egyptian church. Braima, who was the son of Asara apparently did not envisage serious reprimanding when he opposed this practise, another indication that the crisis was internal.''

16:34 If you tell me this is my grandfather's language, then why trying to make me feel like i'm different from those people speaking same language presently 🤔?? The whole truth of this matter is that, all human comes from same origin, even the bible says we all comes from Adam and Eve and we will certainly have some things in common, whether language, skin color or at least skeletal system. The same ABSOLUTE " I-AM "spirit having human experience in all human. Theres nothing like white man or black man in reality. We are all sides of same coin. Just like day and night. None is better than the other. #peace ✌️ ☮️
