Lately I’ve been trying to pray inwards. At no object or imagination. Just thanking the self. The being-ness itself. The source. Consciousness.Just saying thank you for life and existence. Being in a state of gratitude. I don’t know if it promotes spiritual growth, but I enjoy it and it feels worthwhile, even necessary.

This is the real prayer. A prayer is not something happening between two entities, the one engaged in prayer and the one who is being prayed to. This is a division created by ignorance of separation. We are the universal consciousness looking at itself through individual consciousness which is none other than the Absolute.

No, concentration and meditation are different. Concentration is forcing your attention towards one object. But meditation is being aware of your attention. When we start with God, now 100 questions will errupt which god, what color, what shape, its a state of conflict. But meditation is flow, being aware, being with the flow. It has no goal but to awaken fully.

@@georgelincolnrockwell6248 The burning bush is a symbol and it's representation leads to Jesus and ultimately God. That is why he chose to speak through it at that point in time. He didn't choose rocks because it doesn't represent him or symbolize him. That is why when people pray to these rocks, nothing happens neither at the time of prayer nor in the future. That is the difference between Cain and Abel. Abel when providing his burnt offering did it in the same symbolism as Christ, as he would pay for our sins. Basically, stating that he believed in a future Christ. And Cain used elements that did not represent that sacrifice and that is why his burnt offering was rejected because he showed, that either he didn't care or did not believe. Instead of researching further as to why he got rejected and how he could make up for it. He got angry and killed his brother. That is why you have to be careful NOT to listen to things that don't represent God, because they will lead you astray.

Now, if no one is at the phone, and you are talking to your phone like your father was there but he is not. Then your just talking to yourself. Or worse replacing your father with either AI or something that doesn't care about you at all. Either way if your talking to anything other than your father, the results will be lacking.
