Osho basically said here that it is of great value to feel the agony of not knowing, and to feel with all of your being, the question: ''who am I - what is the meaning of my life?'' At any time, everyone is completely free to step aside - to take the leap into the unknown. At first it is frightening, but out of the chaos, stars are born.

It is true that a bright light continues to shine well into the future...the mark of a genuine master. Having viewed everything there was to view on the web about this great man whom I did not know, I can understand how he appeared to those who were incapable of breaking through their narrow and conditioned perspectives. He was truly ahead of his time and ranks alongside the great siddhas of the past. A great fortune to listen to these teachings.

@@bw8939 no it's the health of spirituality. Although beauty is not the purpose of spirituality at all, but it comes, naturally. Meditators keep themselves clean by showering twice or thrice if the need arises. Twice as least before every session. They wake up early. The cleaner once soul is there would be brightness and luster in the person. Look at his nose it's shiny too. I can tell you this from personal experience. My face, nails used to shines brighter, never buffed them ever, or no Facial done, but it's just the glow from meditation. During this time he was meditating a lot and eating very little. People think beauty comes from cosmetics and may be very costly food, but in reality very basic food, and meditation can give such a luster that people can't take there eyes off from them, not in a sensual way at all, but these people bring piety in others. The aura that you see in pictures of Jesus and Buddha, Krishna the aura is basically dissolving all grossness and solidity and only light remains. This is the fragrance of their soul.

@Jayraj Suthar my take on this message is that humans are driven by different questions in their minds like, who am I? What will make me happy? What is the best thing to do? How should I do something? What is the purpose of life? Such questions motivate the mind into action, for example, job, family, relationships, learning etc. And humans have freedom to select what they do next. However, all other animals and plants have a clear purpose, which they have no choice over. Humans are unique in that they have full freedom to do anything and even end their own life. However, this freedom of choice can become a very painful journey to gain something - a deep desire to fulfil a gap that one has. This painful endeavour he refers to as Agony. However, like Bhudha, once we can see and realise this Agony, we are also free to let it go. But this can only be done if we are able to let go of the questions that drive our motivation in the first place eg. Why? What? When? How? Who? This means living without a purpose because you have realised that you are existence itself and there is no purpose. We just do things for the sake of doing them and there ultimately is no right or wrong. All we can do is act in the moment without any fear whatsoever!! This is what it means to be liberated - humans are unique in that they can do this through mediation and enquiry of the mind.

Osho's hit the nail right on the head here. The Germans have a customary saying "die Qual der Wahl" - the agony of choice. We humans make such choices everyday, whether we're aware of it or not. A decision _not_ to do something is a decision to do something else. Which has suddenly reminded me of an old song by Roy Clark: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qJOlo7qgqprZj9o.html It's called "Right or Left at Oak Street" Thanks for the post ..
