I'm the uploader of this video (Cooljack2), back in 2006 I got it on a DDT extra's CD from a music shop on a visit to St Petersburg from the UK whilst doing my Russian GCSE, I was 16 at the time and uploaded it as I couldn't find it on KZread and thought i'd share it with a western audience (which Y ouTube was primarily at the time)

я была познакомлена с песнями Шевчука еще в раннем детстве, а память все держит! Такая ностальгия убивает меня, всегда хотелось подальше от дома жить, а когда музыка играет, сердце кровью обливается и глаза полны слез...Сильно домои хочется, на родину!!!!!!!

I had a Latvian/Russian girlfriend I very loved. She lived in Boston Lincolnshire. I was away at my mums for a couple of days. This reminds me of the train journey back to her. I thought about her all the way and missed her so much.. She was also pregnant with my daughter.
