F1 star in the making. I can see Oscar dethroning Max at some point in the future. I'm hoping he's up to the task of being a true rival to the king...would make for some exciting racing! It's getting boring watching everyone race for 2nd and 3rd.

Not to mention the team ripped off Oscar with a rubbish pit stop. The team owed him.

Mclaren have a really good problem right now, I have always seen Lando as a future WDC, now I think they have 2 fantastic drivers that will battle each other and Max hard for the title if they have a winning car under them, massive improvement with the car this year and I can't wait to see the good work pay off, as a McLaren fan since hakkinen and coulthard days the past 10+ years have been tough but the dedication is paying off

This isnt actually the full team radio. They removed the part at the end of the straight on each lap where they yell in to the radio to wake him up before the first corner each lap

Ive been watching F1 long enough to understand that you need to be one of the best drivers in the best car to win the WDC. Max is one of the best drivers in the best car, and he's won 3 WDCs in a row. If there was some alternate Universe where Max decided to be a stock broker instead of a F1 driver, there are 4 or 5 drivers who, if they were in the RB, could just as easily now be 3 x WDC. I think Piastri is one of those drivers. Hes capable of winning consistantly in the best car (unlike, say, Checo). But its a huge call to say hes a future champion. Thats going to be decided by the teams and whether any of them can build a car that matches the RedBull. Until that happens F1 is going to continue to be a race for second.

Well said mate I've said the same thing before that you need a good car aswell as a great driver because most of the time it comes down to the car and the team even Nico Hulkenberg may have one a championship in Max's car or at least got a few wins

I keep saying this, Oscar is an Alan Jones clone. As calm as all get out, but a huge amount of c.nt in him! Even looks a little like Alan Jones!
