As a working actor in LA, he's 100% right about "ethnically ambiguous." In fact, that's actually a category you can put on your profile on casting websites. I'm also a brown Latino, and I've been cast as Filipino, Persian, and Armenian.

That ending about "weirdos" cemented this as one of the best monologues a host has ever given that will hopefully inspire other "weirdos" to be themselves and embrace their creativity--though hopefully not in actual "stab people then lick their blood" ways.

such a nice full-circle moment for Oscar showing the movie and licking the sword at SNL!
He's becoming one of those actors I put on my "Favorites" list. He doesn't seem to be typecast and that's what I like to see in film and television. When they display an array of interesting characters. That movie he did as a kid was great. I hope his childhood buddy was really watching this because what a nice shoutout to him.
Driving home a few months ago, his interview with Terry Gross snagged my attention. He described his upbringing. He is a hero in real life.
What a great guy. From the cool "Standard" guy in Drive, to the badass dad in Dune, now we see the kid inside that made him who he is today.
Very talented actor. I look forward to seeing more of his movies.
Oscar Isaac as a kid looks exactly like the kid they casted to play a young version of him in moonknight
A beautiful sentiment well delivered.
Him playing two parts in his home video is exactly what Marvel needed to make the ending of episode 4 of Moon Knight 🤣🤣
As a Guatemalan from Miami I’m so proud right now this is something I never though I’d see.
"Embrace your weird side", I like the sound of that. Looking forward to Moon Knight.
He has it all, handsome, charming, talented and funny. It’s important to encourage kids to be weirdos - truer words were never spoken.
What a cutie! He is so charismatic and just is so admirable. I really only know him from axmen age of apocalypse, but he’s nailing it even as ethnically ambiguous as he may be 😂 but that’s real talk, he really could play a drunk, priest or rabbi and pull it off easily. Props.
