I thought this video was a waste of time (more non-boxing footage than boxing) then I saw your comment and knew instantly I was guided here. Thank you.
De la Hoya was a leftie who used an orthodox stance. Hence his jab was used with his strong arm. He pretty much won the gold in Barcelona jabbing opponents into oblivion.

and pro's don't forget, he has one of the strongest set of names in his record regardless of outcome. From youth fighting old greats like chavez, whittaker, to prime fighting other primed sometimes steroid taking athletes like mosley, trinidad, to even going up against much bigger men in hopkins with no catchweight, then even at old age still fighting the best like mayweather and pacroids.

+trvth1s Tito didn't take steroids. I agree with everything else you stated but that. Tito was using handwraps that we're legal but the way he had them taped weren't legal in new York. Other than that yes. Oscar fought the best of the best. I was a fan of his too. I don't like what he does as a promotor but business is business.

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!. Oscar’s father and sister crying in the stands. After the fight Oscar lifts up Mexico’s and United States’ flags showing his pride for both countries. When Oscar is announced as winner, he gets on his knees, raises his fist in their and dedicates the gold medal to his mother who had passed way.

We got 3 silvers this year at least, if we don’t get a gold in Paris we definetly will in L.A (whether due to more confidence since you’re competing in your home country or corruption favoring US boxers which hopefully that won’t happen)
Perfect use of his lead hand & movement 👌.
2:22 - 2:31. I guess it is easy to see ODLH (or any competitor) on the podium but as a parent you see your child's years of hard work, effort, early mornings, missed events, late nights, training which culminate to that very exact moment.
