It would serve as a "livelong lesson" to Pakistanis! Similar to what exactly done by Israel to Sinai peninsula (of Egypt) after the 1967 Six-Day War! Soon after that day, Egyptians are started behaving well, and having a "very good bilateral ties" with Israel, till today! Hope US would not make such kind of mistakes anymore!

As USA says that at the insertion someone shoot the helicopter from the compound and it's tail rotor was damaged. So pilots had to crash land. After the mission they destroyed it deliberately so that this technology doesn't fall in anyone's hand. On the other hand USA did it cz they need something to prove that they conducted a raid on that compound. If there was nothing left no-one would believe USA.
