We really appreciate you going out to the ledge just to get a nice view for us even though you have your fear of heights. That was really nice. The view was amazing! Definitely going to check it out while I'm there as well as the south part of Osaka. I really like old style shops and foods. And yes, I remember those coin machines (where the coin rolls down the "funnel"). I don't see them much anymore but I loved them as a kid! They used to be all over malls, museums, aquariums, ect. Pretty sure they were a way to collect donations. My brother and I would drop our coins in at the same time to see which one of our coins "won". Very 'natsukashi' :) Hope I spelled that right. Glad you got to try your Ise shrimp and it was yummy! Now to try one in Ise! Let's keep walking and will definitely Gaaoo to you if I see you on my upcoming trip!

Flew into Tokyo, spent 2 days there before going to Osaka for the last 8 days, tonight is our last night here before heading back to Tokyo. The vibe here is definitely more friendly and laid back, people are more loud and less serious than Tokyo, we are definitely going to miss Osaka but will definitely be back!

It is always so nice to visit the most popular places of your hometown with you dear Rion. It is never boring to revisit there because there is always a special vibe. Yes, at least South Osaka has more traditional local atmosphere and it is obvious that even you probably used to it also enjoy that frandly spirit of the place. Thanks so much for showing the renewed Tsutenkaku Tower and its Observatory. Your commenting of the views has been so interesting in spite the fact that you were as usually scared of high places. I appriciate so much your effort to do your best even under for you such unpleasant circumstances. The food you enjoyed especially seemed nostalgic for there are less such local shops than before. The gachapone prize is not worth the money but as you often say it is worth the excitement/experience. That shrimp looked really inviting before you have "distroyed" it, but I am glad the Mickey Mouse voiced better part of the shrimp had nothing against it. Dotombori again traditionally crowded. Obviously a lot of tourists again there. The street performers added to the vivid atmosphere, for sure. The tighny alley and the shrine at night such a nice Japanese vibe. In the end your beloved peaceful Namba Parks to be partly renewed. Listerning to your mentioning Christmas while still wearing your white T-shirt reminds me how time is flying. But still, looking forward to next adventures with you before the winter. Just stay safe, healthy and happy. God bless!!

hello Riion, your videos were helpful for my japan trip. I watch both your vlogs and livestreams. I'm young, love travelling and Shopping in Japan. One thing I just learnt was that elder Osaka woman wears tiger stripes. Elder woman here wears Tees much like your senior American viewer with black tee and baseball cap calling Osaka older woman Obachan. Different culture huh? Japanese ppl are so healthy esp the food you eat. Take care! Thanks 👍

That is one huge shrimp. It looked like a lobster and curiosity got to me so I did some digging. Ise shrimp (伊勢海老、イセエビ) is translated to spiny lobster. エビ Ebi is commonly translated to shrimp, but Jisho says shrimp, lobster, crayfish. Although it would’ve been funny if 🦐 was that big! Lol. Correct me if I’m wrong… 😅 it looked delicious either way! 😎

Also Dotonbori was literally HELL for me when I was there .... I was pushed around and had no chance to decide where to go myself as it was so incredibly crowded when I was there 2019

Shin-Imamiya was the first stay in Osaka back in 2010. I still remember the place was so dark and a little bit dirty with a lot of homeless around. But somehow you feel so safe, really out of this world. I had no idea about it because I found the cheap hotel for only 2000yen a night back in those days. I revisit back again in 2019 but stayed in different place and the place change a lot to a different town. Thank you for sharing again... I always visit Osaka at least once or twice a month when I work in Kobe for a year.

🇺🇸✌️😁Hello Rion! Good video on Osaka streets and places to go to! I was running late that day on October 10th to get to my APA Hotel in northern Osaka after midnight and Too bad I never captured you on the bridge where Spider-Man was on the 11th day of October when I was there! And I did visit the outdoor food places where octopus🐙balls are made, seeing the Giant Japanese Clown🤡Toy, and I got to go on the Giant long shaped farrier wheel, it was fun that night. Osaka was great place to be in! By the way, as your accent sounds interesting, are you Japanese-British descendent? Not personal, just a friendly question, I also been to a British and Irish Pub in both Tokyo and Nagoya.😅

1:09 If the hotel is rented at Spa World Hotel & Resort, you can get what you want here👍. 5:52 Billiken with kushikatsu in hand 😄. 8:25 It’s great to be able to gacha while lining up😄👏, 10: 02 wow, what a magnificent view😍🤩👍. 12:34 😱I was scared when I saw it😮‍💨, 🫡Rion did it 😉👍👏🥳. 16:03 🤣 I also think so, maybe they want to look she 's not a woman to be trifled with😁. 😯what a crispy katsu okra, katsu egg and hamu katsu, I want to eat it😋. 20:53 100JPY worth it👌. 22:14 oden 😋👏, 23:12 perfect lobster and beer🦞🍺😋👍, 25:25 🤣 Kuromon's lobsters can even talk to each other after eating them, which scares the tourists to death🤣, it made me laugh so hard😆, Rion uses Mickey Mouse's voice again, it's so funny👏, you can be a comedian😁👍! I haven't tried Osaka's Rikuro Ojisan yet, and I must buy it when I visit Osaka🤨😋. 32:39 Cotton candy delicacies are unique and have a variety of cute flower shapes. 34:07 🫡Hozenji Temple is quietly hidden in the bustling city center, retaining its traditional charm, a touch of the charm of ancient Japan😌🙏, this is what tourists like. 35:09 Drinking a cup of warm coffee while enjoying the night view here is perfect🤨😍👍🏙️. 38:47 🤦🏻‍♀️😆😂. Thank you so much Rion, let’s keep walking in Osaka’s food street, new Tsutenkaku observation deck and the latest situation in Japan🇯🇵🤝!

My favourite onsen hotel in OSAKA 🇯🇵 😍 Have stayed SpaWorld Hotel (Japanese room) many times ♨️ which has great views of Tsūtenkaku ❤😘 Tip: Stay 2 nights, end of month to the 1st as they change between (4th European & 6th Asian) floors each month (Male ↔️ Female), so you can go each floor. Book low season to save $ plus in advance as it gets busy. You are allowed to go out during your stay to buy snacks. In SpaWorld many restaurants to choose from. Pro Tip: Day of checkout you can return to onsen after room checkout, just let them know how long you intend to stay and give them your bags. They will change your wristband in case you wish to eat at the restaurants. Also just to mention they also have a water fun park upstairs that requires swimming costumes.

What a bargain large shrimp 🦐🦐🦐 and beer for best price. Was a bit scary to see the shrimp talk to you after you ate him. Lol
