People criticizing Meena for make up in the Drishyam 2 will not utter a word about the fact that Mohanlal acting as Georgekutty had nicely trimmed hair, shaped beard and treated skin (as opposed to Drishyam 1 where Mohanlal looked natural just like a villager). Its just sexism

Please don't play that sexist card here. Mohanlal has been trolled more than enough already. People still criticize him for the changes in his face. We already know about Mohanlal's face. His hair is messed up in one of the first scene in which he's waking up from his bed. It's normal for a villager to have trimmed hair and shaped beard. Have you ever been to a village? We have hair saloons FYI. Meena had fake eyelashes and lipstick. Ever seen a home maker wearing these while removing husks from a coconut? Meena's make up is one among the many criticisms D2 got. Even the director knew about it. Don't make everything about gender.

മീനയുടെ make up നെപ്പറ്റി കുറ്റം പറയേണ്ട കാര്യമേ ഇല്ല. ലാലേട്ടന് Perfect match ആണ് അവർ. സ്ത്രീകൾ വീട്ടിൽ മുഷിഞ്ഞ രൂപത്തിൽ നിൽക്കണം എന്ന് എന്താ ഇത്ര നിർബന്ധം. ഒരു തിയേറ്റർ ഉടമ ഒക്കെയായ ഭർത്താവിന്റെ നിലവാരത്തിനനുസരിച്ച രൂപത്തിലാണ് അവർ. ലാലേട്ടൻ ഏതു വേഷത്തിൽ നിന്നാലും സൂപ്പർ ആണ്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിനൊപ്പം കട്ടയ്ക്കു നിൽക്കണമെങ്കിൽ അല്പം make up ഒക്കെയാകാം. ഒരു make up ഉമില്ലാതെ സുന്ദരിമാരായി വീട്ടിൽ നിൽക്കുന്ന എത്രയോ സ്ത്രീകൾ ഉണ്ട്. അതു സംബന്ധിച്ച ചോദ്യത്തിന് ജിത്തു സർ സമ്മതിച്ചു കൊടുത്തു കൊണ്ട് ഉത്തരം പറയേണ്ട കാര്യമില്ലായിരുന്നു

I don't find neenas outfit a misfit. But the character of Asha Sharath's appearance remains the same even after going through such a trauma. Her dressing n hairstyle looked trendy which is unlikely for a mother who even gave up her job n went abroad.

I thought that too then I thought otherwise. A person who has gone through trauma need to let go of herself /taking care of herself. I have seen many people who still look so we'll put together even if they have been through hell. I liked the fact that she they showed her like that

It is not the outfit , she always wear heavy make up. Even in Katha parayumbol , very poor family she was in full make up . Her husband sreenivasan n 2 girls looked poor. IG is perfect . They always maintain a decorum in all situations.

ദൃശ്യം 3 ഉറപ്പായും വേണം
