Shailaja and S.P.Balasubramanyam are blessed by Goddess Saraswati.Dedication and Devotion to music along with their ability to ENJOY their work and impress the audience has seen them through all THE ODDS.As a Ardent follower of SPB I was not surprised when MRS.Shailaja was given her due in the field of music,be it movies or otherwise.Long live their tribe.Advocate PATHUMALAI.M, Bengaluru.At 66 years of age I still sing the songs of SPB and other renowned singers though not as a professional singer but as a music lover. I get invite FROM Smule SINGERS.My daughter is a good GOOD SINGER trained in classical carnatic music,though not a professional. Because she chose not to GO PROFESSIONAL.

Heavenly voices ! ! ! GOD bless you all, the singers, the musicians who have to bear the 'torture' of the music composers, conductors and the other musicians' errors which make you go for a SECOND TAKE ! ! ! This is my heartfelt BLESSING to all the people who are involved in the WORLD OF ANY ART !!! I myself learned to play the 'Carnatic violin' since the age of 6 and I 'graduated' with the 'Arangeytram' at the age of 12!!! Then, I changed schools and I picked up a pair of drumsticks which I studied for many years, under the tutorship of an American master, in Kodaikanal International School. . . After 12th, I returned to Chennai, played for recordings at a Christian organisation, (Gospel Music), and then I was blessed to go to France where I spent 18 years learning to play the drums by reading western notations! ! ! I taught the English language to the French people for 8 years among the other jobs that I had the opportunity to get trained for and do !!! What a wonderful GIFT OF GOD. . . But, the same GOD had decided that I should come back to India with a divorce and a cancer of the tonsils in my pocket. . . NO, I don't regret anything . . . "Non, rien de rien" Sung by Edith Piaf (Please listen to this song and also, read about her life! ! ! She is well-known in the world !!!) I miss my (french) wife and our two beautiful girls who were born in France. But, listening to you both, enjoying each and every song which I grew up with, is THE BEST CURE FOR THE HEART AND THE SPIRIT !!! (and perhaps my cancer !!!) I THANK YOU, the vocalists, (I have always called you by your first names all through my life), Mano and S.P. (the 'Shy loup'). . . 'Loup' in french means the WOLF !!! So, I have seen a 'Shy Loup'! ! ! NO, she is not 'SHY' at all !!! I enjoyed watching the scene when she is given a dance lesson by Mr. Kamalhaasan. . . ("This is Kathak,. . . this is Kathakali" and, the list could go on)! ! ! You children of the GODS OF MUSIC are the most BLESSED !!! You work hard and you make sad people smile, sing and dance forgetting their worries ! ! ! Continue well !!! Long Live the World Of Music & Entertainment. . . You people will surely keep me alive a little longer until the time comes for me to leave this physical world BUT. . . I'll still watch and listen to your sweet music !
