Sicily’s food is food kissed by the sun and the volcanic soil and that is why it tastes so good.

I agree with Jessi, Syracuse/Ortigia was my favourite place in Sicily.The food in Sicily is the bomb!

I’d love to go to Sicily, never been there… the only problem: I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance and gluten intolerance so I can no longer enjoy the joys of Italian cooking: bread, pizza, pasta, mozzarella, burrata… luckily I don’t react to Parmigiano & Percorino…

Yall should come to New Orleans to go on a Muffellatta taste test from different locations, like Central Grocery, Dimartinos (on Carol Sue), Mo's Pizza on the Westbank, Cochun Butcher Uptown, World Deli in Metairie. Be sure to get the muffs TOASTED!! There is a large population of Sicilians in Southeast Louisiana (New Orleans area). Please come and try our Unique Cuisine. It varies from many different cultures & everything is so delicious 🥰💜
