To me, no one will ever speak a better and superb sounding English than Orson Welles. That old vintage American accent (if I describe it correctly) is something you don't hear nowadays anymore, unfortunately. Wonderful speaker!

Orson Welles died Oct. 10, 1985 sometime in the before 10 am in the morning. On the evening of October 9, 1985, Welles recorded his final interview on the syndicated TV program The Merv Griffin Show, appearing with biographer Barbara Leaming. "Both Welles and Leaming talked of Welles's life, and the segment was a nostalgic interlude," wrote biographer Frank Brady.[23]: 590-591  Welles returned to his house in Hollywood and worked into the early hours typing stage directions for the project he and Gary Graver were planning to shoot at UCLA the following day. Welles died sometime on the morning of October 10, following a heart attack.[20]: 453  He was found by his chauffeur at around 10 a.m.; the first of Welles's friends to arrive was Paul Stewart.[75]: 295-297  Welles was 70 years old at his death.

I worked at MGM and had the pure joy of talking to Welles on the phone one day. He was upset with John Derek, whose picture I was working on, and gave me the message he wanted passed along to Derek, who was out to lunch. Orson Welles cursed up one side and down the other of that phone line and I was in pure heaven. After all, he wasn't cursing me directly, he was leaving a message. In that fabulous golden voice. Incidentally, he was right to be angry, but that's not the point. I treasure hearing his voice in my ear.

These actors are great but do you know who is greater? Jesus. He is selfless and loving. He died for everyone's sins, past, present, and future. Be careful when watching these films. We mustn't make these people our idols. Exodus 20:3-5 says "You must not have any other god but me. You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens on earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods." Not only that, but the end times are here. 2 Timothy 4:1-5 states "You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. People will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!" This is merely to inform people, not to attack them. God bless.
