Hello Everyone,
Today we have even more Mardi Gras Goodness for this Carnival Season. We are presenting to you the Krewe of Orpheus Parade 2024.
Today we join you from St. Charles St. in New Orleans. This Krewe was created by a small group including world famous Actor and Musician Harry Connick Jr.! This Krewe is one of the biggest Krewes in the City of New Orleans! Their floats rival Endymion and some of the prettiest you will find in all of New Orleans Carnival! This is a special parade and we are so happy to be able to bring this one to you!
Theme of the 2024 parade:
Their theme for 2024 comes from creations brought together from the mind of Derek Franklin,Manuel Ponce and the Mardi Gras World Team.
2024 Orpheus Monarchs-Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka. Joining their monarchs at the black-tie gala as our musical headliner, is international singing star Taylor Dayne.

The Krewe of Orpheus, derives its name from the mortal Orpheus, son of the god Apollo and the muse Calliope. One of the city’s “super krewes”, Orpheus is consciously nonexclusive and New Orleans most diverse krewe boasting 1,300 members from all walks of life. The parade rolls on Lundi Gras and culminates with the Orpheuscapade, a black-tie party that draws thousands of revelers to welcome the floats through the convention center as they are entertained by world-renowned musicians.
Founded in 1993 by a small group including Harry Connick, Jr., Harry Connick, Sr. and Captain Sonny Borey, the Krewe of Orpheus is a Mardi Gras organization open to all men and women of good character and spirited personality.
