However, there are answers in the audio series OB: The Next Chapter (you said you hadn't found the time yet to listen to) for why Kira is a scientist and another very important aspect of her life, that I will not spoil here. I only recently listened to it myself, it's not as good as Echoes but it was a fun time. Anyways, co-creator of OG OB John Fawcett directed this episode and episode two... and the S1 finale. And the reason the music/score feels like OG OB is because Trevor Yuile is back as the composer too 💜
