Dave, it's really great to see the babies (even the older ones you get) go from being so frightened, traumatized, confused & just not knowing where their life will take them, to them interacting with the other babies, getting a new mom, learning new skills and just being so happy. You and your whole team do wonderful work, Dave. I am sure that if the monkeys could talk they would say just how much they appreciate what all you do for them. Thank you, Dave & team.

Hi, haven't seen you on monkey Hill in a bit
Hope we get to see the introduction to foster moms. Love the that first hug!
Little Mikey is the CUTEST thing ever!😊❤
The cutest baths ever, with that baby darting forward this way and that 😂
I’m so happy to see the worst of the illness has passed. You all are amazing. Thank you for all you do for these beautiful small beings. 💛
Nugget is almost a six pounder, and starting to get his crown. Surprised at how fast he took to the bottle, like a pro🏆 Man, Mikey is small compared to the others. All the mommas look like the ladies at the mall, waiting for the doors to open😂 Wheres Rowen? Can't wait to see which mommas pick which baby❤ Thank you for sharing and all the updates on every Monkey. I always can't hardly wait for Thursdays, and Sundays to see their progress upgrade each time👍
😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏🏻 Thank you to all who help the monkeys
I'm so happy y'all show these videos thank you
I make a similar drink for my kiddos with coconut water and tart cherry and lime juice and they love it. I figure it's orders of magnitude better for them than the commercial hydration products.
Nugget is very blue!
Wow Baby Nugget is Learning fast. He is so cute 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰.
3:37 I genuinely thought the aliens were here lol that was crazy but as soon as I heard Dave’s voice and seen that the video was in slow motion, I could breathe.
tres interessaant l'astuce pour les inciter a teter et non a mordre leur tetine de biberon
Mikey is such a little guy ❤😊
Sure did get the hang of the bottle fast.
Its just amazing every week it gets better and better and love u watch the babies and you are are just wonderful. If you get a minute could you let me know how brendakaye is doing. Thank you so much❤❤❤
Great video as always thankyou for sharing.
Love to watch you guys! I dream of coming to volunteer ❤️ One day if the Lord wills it
Poor little guy, covered in fleas😢. If he has adult fleas, and flea dirt, eggs, etc then he was exposed to an animal with fleas for at least a week to 10 days. So whomever had him before the person from the sanctuary confiscated him had him for at least a week. He must be so uncomfortable, it makes me itch just thinking about it 😳🫣😳!!! So happy to see he is safe and much less itchy at the VMF!!!❤
Great video, except for the main female narrator’s up-talking, which was so distracting we turned off the sound.
Oh so sweet😊
Adore able Baby!!!💓💓💓👍😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks for this video - I'm already looking forward to the moment when the babies seen in this video find their foster mothers.

It's always nice to see them in troop or coming back as adults to adopt their own baby. Yllena was an early orphan and now she has adopted one herself, and of course Gimli is always such a treat to see thriving.

Yes! Gimli ❤! What a story his was. Dedication of the staff and volunteers and Gimli's courage helped him grow into a very healthy and handsome big boy!
12:24 bless you
21:54 it still worries me that Anita and Bugalu have things in their mouths being so small and unstable on their feet.
Seems like others are itchy too. What happens if u get a flea outbreak?
Why do the workers kind of “ sing” their narration.they tend to pitch up their sentences . It’s kind of funny . They don’t speak normally . None of them lol lol. But still doing wonderful care to these little babies . Bless all of you and TALK NORMALLY LOL

Hahaha that's funny I noticed the same thing lol. I'm a noise sensitivity person so I just thought it's my own ears and brain causing me to be irritated by this lol. But apparently I'm not the only one hearing it. I think they're just narrating a lot for these videos and it's just what happens after doing this a lot. Idk if that makes sense. I'm just glad there's someone to record these sweet monkeys and tell us what's going on 😊
where is vervet foundation located, what is thr major city?

South Africa, Tzaneen, search on google maps for Vervet Monkey Foundation
Why are these cages so small? They need shelter, not prison, right?

Any time you see a small cage or enclosure, it's temporary. Either for transport or for monkeys who are sick, or an introduction cage where the orphans are introduced to their new monkey foster moms. Once that introduction takes place and a bond is formed, the orphans and monkey foster moms are released into one of the various troops on the many, many, acres of land at the Vervet Monkey Foundation. Again, the only time during which they're confined in cages, it would be for a specific, valid, reason and for a very short time. You might get a better understanding of the entire VMF rescue and rehabilitation program by going back and watching the past five or six years worth of videos on the channel. Everything is explained and the videos are enjoyable too!

@@theopinionisthighqualityopinio very well said it's the most common sense thing to do I totally agree with you ❤❤
It is sad to see them holding on to the bottle from a wire cage. So unnatural. Why can't they have a teddy bear or something, something.
@VervetMonkey

great suggestion and how would you stop the other monkeys from stealing the teddy bear and drinking the milk

And why get them used to something that they will not be able to take with them when they are integrated into the troop?
@veidaqueen3899

And if they get their food AND comfort then they will not socialize well and they will not want a mummy as much they will be weird lonely monkeys clinging to a stuffed animal. Keeping them away from comfort objects while feeding is very tactical as science proves this helps them have healthy social skills.
