This is actually a prequel to the first movie too so she's in fact older in this one the she was in the first movie but in this one she's younger the the first. Oh the mind fawk lol.

It's quite remarkable how well they made the Ester actress look so young with the camera tricks and limited makeup. When I first heard about the film and finding out it was a prequel, I had my doubts but this looks promising

But she still looks older than she did in the first one, whereas she should look younger (which would be expected using the same actress after 13 years), so it doesn't make sense really. They should have done the prequel a lot sooner for it to be believable

THE PLOT TWIST ON THIS MOVIE WAS JAW DROPPING
Gosh after all those years. That same cold GAZE!!! Esther is back with vengeance, this prequel gotta rock like hell. I'd nightmares when I first saw it in my school days, that time we got cable TV and I watched it on HBO 😭 such nostalgia.
I just saw it and it is great with a twist who would never expect. Must be a part 3 as Isabelle mentioned with one of her interviews. Amazing!!!

Orphan is a cult classic.... And this prequel looks equally promising and menacing.... I'm pretty much hyped about this film....

@@adriannunez6594 it is a prequel... The actor has definitely grown.... But the story is a flashback of what happened before the girl was adopted again and she tried to destroy the entire family as we saw in the first part

If you liked the first movie at all, this is a must watch. I just watched it I was super surprised about how good it was. Absolutely no brainer to watch

What a classic 🔥
This child I mean this grown woman is one of the best characters of all time for this movie because I’ve seen the original orphan movie back in 2009 which featured that same grown woman.

Im so glad they brought the original actress to play the role. If they hadn't done that than I probably wouldn't of watched it. So far it looks good from what I can see.

@@carmenmcolon9591 He character isn't supposed to be a little girl. Shes supposed to be in her early 20s because she was born with something that causes her to age faster than a normal child.

@@carmenmcolon9591 They should have never killed this character off in the first place. It was a big mistake to take that route in the series. Keeping her alive would've open up to making better sequels than prequels.

I remember as a kid not being able to see this movie with my parents they saw it in theaters and I was allowed to see it or go with them and a few years later it was a on cable with pay per view and I saw it and damn it was a awesome movie something I have not seen until that point And there is gonna be a prequel I am now 21 and able to see this movie with out parent super vision and I loved the first one

Well the first movie did say that the family she was with she burned the house down cause she couldn’t seduce the father which lead her to this of killing the family/ burning down the house and finding another family . The first movie scared the shit out of me
