I explored this place abandoned tonight, what a lovely place it once was. Crazy to think how time breaks things down.

I watched this video because of bright sun films video even though this channel and hotel is dead it’s cool seeing how it looked before closing

I spent a weekend here in 1983 with a cashier from 7-Eleven. She was a student during the day, worked 7-Eleven at night and danced on weekends. She was a hard working young woman considering her father was a dentist and could have supported her. I barely noticed since I was a student at the US Navy nuclear propulsion school and we typically put in 80 hours each week outside of the workday classroom time. The Navy sent me on to more schooling and eventually to the fleet. I wish I could have taken her with me, but she had her scholastic career as well and it was there in Orlando.

Wow, looked like a very nice place to stay before it went out of business and got severely vandalized. Im here because of Bright Sun Films and Exploring with Josh. Made me curious of this place. Looked amazing

i stayed here when i was 5. roaches in bathroom bed bugs everywhere. was not a good plage

I went here today and some crazy old guy claiming he’s security tried chasing us out lol. We weren’t scared of him and continued. We think we were being stalked during our exploration. He ended up following us with a car but never showed his face. The property itself is crazy. It’s huge and all abandoned. Kinda sad

Dude same, for me he was a white old man and he was outside and he didn’t see me till I walked in front of the door and he saw me. He was on the phone so he hung up and recorded us and called us dumbasses and called the cops. When we were leaving he was at our car, his wife I’m assuming called the cops and before I knew it we drove off away from that place

There squatters! They called the cops on us too. From what the cops told us they said they’ve been trying to get them out for years but in order to evict them because there’s squatters in they have squatters rights because they’ve been there for so long. They need to contact the property owners, but they can’t get a hold of them so they turn the power on and everything they’re living there.

Yeah it turns out there was like a whole family living in one of the sections and they recently got kicked out so I went in that section to see what was going on and it absolutely reeked of cat piss there was like at least 13 litter boxes just spread around the place and there was so much garbage it was literally touching the ceiling I’m guessing there was at least a decade of stuff in there and judging by a lot of the items there was kids living there too. (Sorry for bad grammar I’m right abt to go to bed ☠️)

I stayed at this resort during 2012. I was there from March until October and got to know the staff and the owner quite well. What close this place down was they're horrible reviews, bad management as well as unbelievably bad ownership responsibility. This man did not pay at least half of his staff for months. How the hell they manage to stay there and continue was beyond me. However, most of their staff lived on the property and really had no other place to go, considering the rental and ownership properties and that area are quite high in price. No, unfortunately, the owner was a very greedy sob. I remember him not paying his maintenance staff for at least 3 months, and they still stuck around doing their job. Because of his mismanagement, he made empty promises to his employees and ended up closing this place down in November up 2012. By the time it was all said and done, you never paid his employees before the resort closed. What is so sad about this resort, he let it dilapidated into almost nothing. It had a lot of very serious maintenance issues and flooded several times while I was there. It's too bad, because it was a very decent property. It had well over 50 acres. I hope if anybody does buy this property in the future, their best bet would be to knock it completely down and start over, with the exception of the convention center area. The lobby and convention center we're the best things about this place. The owners first name is Percy. I'm quite sure that his future business dealings want to leave him bankrupt.

You literally used Bob Acri - Sleep Away from Windows 7. 😂 To their credit, though, this looks very mid 2000s.
