Mine too. He never got to enjoy 2010 or 2011, so when they win I think of him taking me to games at old Arlington Stadium and watching them on channel 11 and HSE.

@@OfficialWhip That disastrous last week of the season seemed to wake the Rangers up. I haven't seen them playing this well since June and July. This is a team, when healthy, that would have won 100 games itself. The 90 win record is very deceptive. They were basically a 100+ win team that suffered tons of injuries to like 5 or 6 different all star players.

was at this game. that was the best ranger game I ever went to the crowd was amazing.

Praying for many blessings your way

All my grandpa ever wanted was to experience the rangers win it all. Hopefully this is the year he can finally say he saw them win it all.

Been a Ranger fan since 07 when my dad passed away, they were his favorite team. I was there during the 2 World Series runs and the disappointment that followed, then we get some hopes again in 16 and then immediately lose to Toronto. At the start of the 17 season I bought a Rangers wristband and went to the season opener which we lost and began a long stretch of losing baseball for the team, but I never gave up on them. Ive kept that wristband on and have not taken it off ever since that day because I knew even at their lowest, one day they would be back on top. It is now my superstition item and I will be there at home to watch them once they take on the ALCS. I know they will take everything that belongs to them! For this team, for Bochy, all the fans who stuck around and all of the ones we lost along the way that continue to cheer for up above, LET’S FREAKING GO RANGERS!!!

It’s been a journey. It’s very emotional to see the ups and downs we’ve had over there past 12 years. #GoAndTakeIt

Mostly downs thanks to Jon 'Dick in his Hand" Daniels. Its not coincidence the second we got rid of that scrub we exploded. JDIHHD would not trade Profar for PRIME Zack Grieke. This is why we dont have a championship. We were truly an ace pitcher away in 2012 and 2013 from a championship and this is nickel and dime piece of crap ruined it because he got cute with a middle infielder.

@@nonospot838I agree it was time for JD to go but he turned this franchise around. This was a horrible organization for pretty much the entire history. They had only been to the playoffs 3 times in team history before he got here. They went 5 times under him and made it to the World Series twice. And like someone else said the majority of the players on this team were acquired by jd. So regardless of how people feel about him he deserves a lot of credit

SOOO HAPPY for the team, esp. for Lowe after that 6th inning HR. Can feel the raw emotion from him and everyone in the dugout cheering for him. 8 more wins!!

Being at this game was one of the coolest moments of my life man. Such amazing energy by the crowd!!! On to the ALCS!!!

While i was hoping to see a Orioles World Series run, im glad to see the Rangers advance to the ALCS. Rooting for them. They deserve it just as much as the Orioles did

Man, this team is white hot. Baltimore never had a chance to get going this series and Texas just dominated them in all aspects of the game. Evo was lights out and is a beast in the postseason. The offense exploded once again with El Bombi getting in the mix this time and Lowe finally getting him a big hit. Garver by far is the MVP of this series and is just straight raking. The Rangers were a team that people thinking were gonna get swept out of the playoffs or be the first ones out. I guess they proved them wrong by going undefeated and doing the sweeping and the first ones in the CS. Keep shocking the world Rangers! #TRFL

and then they run into the team that OWNS them. Houston has won 8 of their games this season. Astros just own the Rangers right now. If it had been the Twins, the WS would have been gift wrapped. But Houston, it's 7 games that it takes to chop down that tree (most likely)

@@craigwheeler4760One heck of a call. The series stretched to 7. The Astros were the only team with the ability to wipe out the Rangers. Once the WS was set, the D-backs were just running into a buzzsaw at full speed.

I've got to hand it to the Oriole fans. They were cheering loud and hard the first two games at home no matter what. There's a lot of spirit in them. I'm glad my Rangers are moving on, but I wish Baltimore all the luck next season. On a side note, was anyone else REALLY annoyed at this announcing crew? I thought they were supposed to be an impartial national crew, but it was ALL Orioles ALL the time with them. Even when the Rangers were winning 7-1 on their way to the sweep all they could talk about was how good this Baltimore team is...

As a Yankees fan, it’s scary to see how good the O’s are. They had a fantastic season. I expect them to be in the playoffs again. Hats off to the Rangers! Always nice to see some fresh blood advance deep into the postseason.

dude i'm sick of the "heater" narrative building around this team. In every capacity thus far they have dominated their competition winning 5 straight post season games against the inflated records of the East with their softer schedules. Their bullpen blew double digit games in the ninth inning even if they got half those games back they'd be close to 100 wins on the regular season. They are the real deal and all we can do is sit back and enjoy it, like Jacob deGrom.

I would have loved for this Orioles team to win it all. But they got swept by the Rangers. Seems like this Texas team is worthy of winning it all on the AL side.

5-0 to start the postseason and the bullpen has done their job of holding onto a lead. Its crazy to think about this though but if it comes down to the Rangers vs Astros in the ALCS, then the ratings are gonna go up and up throughout.

@@AtlasLytle Yeah I mean I've said this before many times. Its a chance to get to the dance and this Rangers team has that chance to get their but in a 7 game series, who would you want them to face? Twins or Astros? I mean thats a tough call to consider but I feel like that either one would be tough because both of those teams have beaten the Rangers in the regular season.

If they add to the bullpen I think they could be better. But that 2011 team had everything. Including 4 really good pitchers in the bullpen. BUT this team can get it done if they keep playing like this

They're pretty good. The lineup is on par with those teams, the starting pitching was a wee bit better back then, but if Max and Gray come back it's a push. The pen then was way better, but right now this pen is pitching lights out. They're better defensively now. Love Wash and always will, but I'll take Boch over him just because of the experience and resume.

As a Rangers fan, I don't know, we were 4-9 this year against them, and last 2 times we played them, it was disaster, last series with the blowout sweep, and the series before that with Jonah Heim getting injured. If we do play Houston, which we probably will, we need to play perfect if we want to have a chance.
