Can we give props to Mullins with a 2 for 5, and 2 stolen bases. Hays 2 for 2. Mateo 1 for 2, with HR, 2 SB, and 2 Walks. Good to see this. For real, Bauman woulda been nice last night....guess hindsight is 20/20.

Hi Connor, Congratulations on your wedding! I wish you and Hannah many happy years together. It is a wonderful thing to find the right person - my husband and I have been married 45 years in October and are still happy. (And have been Orioles fans all that time, and my husband even longer!) Really enjoy and look forward to the podcast every day. I am always quoting you "Connor says this or Connor says that..." We went to Cincinnati and saw John Means and Bradish pitch - two wins. And then to St. Louis and saw the completion of the rainout and the end of the streak. All the best to you and keep up the good work.

Congrats on the wedding, Connor, but the umpire was clearly correct on the interference call. It was a little nitty, sure, but correct. "Offensive interference is an act by the team at bat which interferes with, obstructs, impedes, hinders, or confuses any fielder attempting to make a play." Gunnar had to maneuver around Vaughn, and significantly so. Vaughn was in the way. He interfered. It's really that simple. It doesn't have to be intentional (although it might have been; presumably he knew where the SS was playing and would be heading that way for the catch.) And it's only an automatic out on infield fly if the fielder is basically camped under the ball. So the obstruction *could* have affected his ability to get under the ball. If he somehow didn't make the play, and the ball fell, might it have been because he had less time to get under the baseball due to Vaughn being in the way? Yes, and that's why it was called interference.

marriage is like baseball.......sometimes things don't make sense, but if the young lady is a good catch. . . . well i can't really bring this one home, but there absolutely will be series like the Cardinal series where bad luck just makes things tough. Exhale and know it's a long season and you only have to win 60 % of the gAmEs to have an elite marriage. Screw luck Conner, insist on your ability to think calmly and patiently and good results follow! b well. Enjoy your time away. We'll all look forward to your return.

Completely off topic but does Burns not go to the stadium on off days or does he stay in the clubhouse. I've been looking for him all season and have never seen him once in the dugout during games he doesn't pitch. Maybe he hangs out in the bullpen? Idk just something I've noticed

Is Jonathan Heasley really the best reliever they could bring up? If he is then they're in trouble. Heck they might as well have kept Baumann. He and Cano did their best to give away the 6-run lead in the 9th. They very well could have if not for the truly absurd interference call by the ump. Yes they won the game and stopped the 3-game losing streak but they gave up 6 runs against the worst team in MLB that barely scores 2 runs/game. In his 5 appearances this month, Cano has given up 4 hits, 3 walks, 3 runs and struck out one in 2.2 innings. Those are terrible numbers for the best "high leverage" reliever in your bullpen.
