Orinoco Flow (Sail Away) - Enya (with lyrics)

Музыка

This is my favorite of Enya's songs, Orinoco Flow. I recently saw a video just like this one and I really liked it so it inspired me to make my own. I hope you enjoy the song and the pictures as much as I do. :)

Same feeling you get when you are totally present, like when you are meditating. Beautiful things, such as this song, have the power to make you feel the present moment.

FYI: Orinoco is one of the largest rivers in the Amazon jungle and its the main river of Venezuela, its name means "the place to swim" in the native indigenous language due to fact that there's no crocodiles and piranhas in its waters near to the ocean shore. It springs at the highest peak of the Amazon jungle, where's the highest world's waterfall as well, the Angel's Fall, 1.2 kilometer high, and flows into the Atlantic Ocean close to the borders of Brazil and Colombia

Daniel Kim She was soft spoken and smiled a lot. Gave us a compliment at the end too. It’s been 10 years since but I do remember her wearing all black I think? Like a long black skirt and top. She looked almost exactly like her sister who also came. The sister actually comes into my work from time to time today and you can definitely see the similarities as they both have that distinct face.

When me and my aunt were out on a sunny day she fell overboard of our boat in the ocean. Mere moments before she drowned she sang this song "Carry me on the waves to the land I've never been" "Sail away, sail away!" and I did. I sailed away, so far away, from Bali all the way to Cali. Good song. It was played during her funeral and every one sang along in unison. We can reach, we can beach, we can sail away! Ooh Yeah!!

This tune always reminds me of the great voyage in the 1640s by Commander George Anson the seven ships and only one returned home. A perfect theme song for a global journey that followed almost Magellens crew that sailed in 1522.

I’m 27 now. When I was 8, I would always go to Mexico on a bus which took 4 days to get there. Whenever I boarded the bus, this song would always play before it too off. I would sing to it and felt nervous for the road trip. Through out the years I’ve NEVER! Heard this song until I was eating Panda Express a couple hrs ago and this song played in a teen drama movie that my gf was watching. As soon as I heard it, I just froze and nothing but forgotten flashbacks and memories suddenly burst! It was an emotional moment because I would always bug my dad about the song and sang it the whole 4 days. My dad died a couple of years ago from diabetes. RIP Dad! I miss you ❤️.

Enjoyed your comment, It's 2 a.m. on a Thursday morning here. I'm getting a little burnt out from listening to R+R all day. I just click on anything hoping to hear something different. So I hit this and same thing ,I've heard this many times in many places but never knew the title or the artist. The song commands you attention and then stays in your head. It's kind of like finding a lost nugget in the sand.

I instantly got thrown back to the past. I'm glad you've had to relive this experience. Much love for you, and my well ment condolences, still.
