The crossing of the hands on the pillars is very similar to the statues on Easter Island and some ancient Gaulic carvings in Ireland.

Fascinating stuff. Got Andrew Collins' "Göbekli Tepe, Genesis Of The Gods" book in the mail earlier this week. Included was Chris Dunn's "The Giza Power Plant" which I'm reading right now... Am truly glad that there's people like Graham, Andrew Collins, Robert Bauval, Christopher Dunn, Robert Schoch, John Anthony West and the likes, who have done so much great work in uncovering things that go square against orthodox views, not because they're people with too much imagination but because they take the time to look at findings from a more neutral point of view that allows them to see stuff in a different light. A light which shines a much more plausible theory on ancient constructions than the narrow vision of most "scholars"...

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Mr Hancock I'm from Germany and I'm currently watching your latest documentary on Netflix. To be honest, I have always questioned the theses and opinions of our historians. Mankind must have existed for much longer than previously thought. I find your theses, but also understandable considerations, very plausible. I've always been interested in where we actually came from and if we're not in some way serving as test subjects for a larger civilization than ours. Your work is very interesting. Maybe it's time you actually rewrite history.

The Thunder Bolt Project wants you to believe that the cave drawings are plasma events that our ancestor saw in their sky and this was the inspiration for the art work on the walls. I also believe that the cave art does comes after the megalithic construction during a time of global upheaval which was creating havoc. If you blend this science my way just imagine these cave with the rock art is being done while people are hiding from the plasma events taking place up in their sky..

megalithic structures are produced by ante-diluvian technology, so all of them might be dated pre-9500 BC. then again survivors of the flood with that knowledge might have built some too.

  • @TheNousAge

Graham, do you believe Göbekli Tepe was "built and buried"? If so, might we look at it as being from a society which had foreknowledge of a worldwide cataclysm...and that this site was meant as a time (knowledge) capsule of sorts for the survivors?

Those are NOT most ancient, period. I'm sure you know Klaus Dona, a while ago he presented some satellite building forms under pure salt bed of Uyuni, Bolivia. He probably has the coordinates as well but in case he doesn't, took me 2 days to spot and map the area in very high res. Made a vid on it, can give those pics to anyone at request if provided with an email address capable of rec. large files. Btw, I'm 99% sure Bolivian government is anything but interested in investigating :)) Place might be as old as Virginia Steen-McIntyre's Hueyatlaco site, a case buried by "orthodoxy" but revivified by Michael Cremo ...

Mark McFarlane you clearly freaked out so i cut down my comments on "aging = solvable equation", but, as a last attempt: consider applying Graham Hancock's message to humanity (on my yt channel) to each individual, at a micro-level (individual = trillion cells micro-society) ... micro - indiv. ages/dies cause he deliberately (learns to) hates himself (defining this 'himself' requires my prev comments and a lot more ...) same applies to macro, hence so many lost civilizations (check Klaus Dona, Micael Cremo and Michael Tellinger research that more than point this ... ) solutions - micro - apply Graham's message within our micro-humanity, translated in a nouro-hormanal language cells understand - macro - the mentality of an individual that sees immortality at horizon should reach ppl in power or Graham's worst fears will come true (and that indiv will be crushed regardless what he sees) ------- -i put that vid - a possible connection between Cydonia,Mars & Deir Alla,Jordan -i'll receive some Yonaguni material that may end this subject, Graham's way... -i'll put some Michel Tellinger highlights, parts i agree + things i tend to disagree - maybe what Michel says did happen but, in my view, the real/only gold/richness is intelligence - the only currency of the future (if any) = ability to - better see reality -> minimize perceptions errors - come up with solutions to yet unsolved problems Best Marius

@1.26 - thing is - it was contaminated by the very backfill used to bury it, as that can contain carbonates from many thousands of years before - in the form of charcoal for example, which was found in the plaster sample (considered the one and only piece of useable c14 evidence as all other samples were from the backfill itself). However - this plaster contained loam, which is not only very porous, so could have soaked up carbon from the soil, and the charcoal trace found in the plaster could also have been mixed into the plaster at the time, though itself have already have been several thousands of years old, if for example it came from a clay layer deep down and had been preserved. The charcoal trace could have been from a forest fire, or even a manmade fire from way before GT was ever constructed. Just saying...it's quite a thin bit of evidence to hinge the whole dating of the site on - you yourself on your website state the problem you have with c14 dating - in that 'it dates the organic artefact which has been found; it does not conclusively date the site that surrounds the artefact.' You suggest that a site also "needs to be put into a cultural and historical perspective' and that just relying on a c14 reading is 'dangerous'. I agree with you btw.
