Love it! This was my mom's era. She loved to dance around the house, and this was her favorite. Every time I hear it, I think of her. I miss her so much. I love this song as much as she did, I think. The dance, the bluesy vibe. It'll never get old.

I hate to say it but if everyone thinks that this dance is or looks easy they've got me I'm studying their moves and shuffling around and it doesn't look easy to me this was my late mom's generation and music which was a few years before I was born but I love all of the music of those times pop, country and rhythm n blues and soul music which is one and the same!

Loved the 1st couple the guy had a goatee & striped shirt as back in the day & liked the couple with the guy who wore a cash t- shirt; lots of couples of all different ages dancing, can't beat the 50's & 60's for great music & you can even understand the lyrics. This group The Diamonds wear brought to town a few yrs ago by our community concert group & lots of people were Strolling out in the isles, wear no people were sitting, wear ever there was room to move around. it was great watching all these grey heads (besides me) dancing to a song from our youth. Plus lots sang along the group really appreciated the dancing to the stroll !

Good to see the proper Stroll being done. It is meant to be a greasy slow grind like this. Sadly, since the mid 70's there has been another dance pretending to be the Stroll at R'n'R/Rockabilly dances.

Amen to this how l remeber this like so so real how the feeling of people are so loving and so together ,people were different today you have a little thing and u cough they run mask lol.lol in the 50s there was no doctor on every corner l had something' my gramma would take care of me not a big deal ,l went to.my friends and l started to cough 1time they took off lol ,the one brought her soup and my other friend brought her salad it's all good but from the ,50s there is connection and what l see regection ,not in a bad way but Covid made it happened but the stroll the 50 take me back all the way back to serenity

In the American Grafitti there is one dancer who IMHO get's this dance spot on, she is in a white top, red tartan skirt to the left of the line up. What she adds to the dance/stroll is a rounding of the hips as she tranverses the stride....

i saw a great documentary about the how much the Russians loved the Beatles. It was amazing what they had to do to get Beatle records smuggled in. They copied every thing the beatles did
