A great video, Barry! I have to say these must be about the most accurate reproductions--both the cartridges and boxes--being made today, much better than mine (but just you wait!). I am really looking forward to seeing what the external ballistics of these cartridges are like. (This is Hugh, by the way.)

Are you using the CCI musket caps for reenacting. I have some of those caps I was wondering how they work. You have a nice carbine. I own one also but I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet.

I want to get a Smith. Which would be better for shooting......repro (Hard to find) or original? (Mostly more expensive)

Personally I always prefer an original over a repro.

Are you from the UK? I figured you must be, the way you pronounce carbine.

Nope. I live in Indiana in the United States. Lived in the UK for a bit when I was a child. That is the way I always pronounced carbine 😀
