ORIGINAL Japan drift vlog from 2007! *read description*

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Back in 2007, before I moved to Japan, I worked for a car magazine in Australia that also made DVDs. This is an edit of a trip I made to Japan that never made it to a published DVD. The idea was to buy a car and drift it at Ebisu Circuit. It was originally meant to have voiceovers and music, but since I'm missing a few tapes-worth of footage, because I left the company almost immediately after this trip and never had a chance to make the final video, I thought I'd just edit up what I had and put it up here for posterity. Enjoy!

You know when you think about it. I feel that can be attributed to a lot of things. Maybe things just start off organic and "real" but as time passes. More players enter the game. The formula of early success is replicated and becomes easier to duplicate. Which mean the quality and originality of the content becomes less and less. Until finally the thing, be it a genre of music ,a new sport or art movement. Slowly becomes bogged down in mediocrity. With the system that comes into place doing it's best to keep anything that might spark the thing back to originality from ever coming into own. You want an example of what I'm talking about? You need look no further than the very site we are on right now in this comment section.

I kinda wonder where all the hands-on car gals seem to have gone. They're around in older videos and stuff, don't see so much in recent stuff. (Maybe the horsepower and tire budgets just got too ridiculous. The old-school techniques are more appealing, I think. :) )
