i'm gonna go ahead and stop you there before you make a fool of yourself. on an iphone 7 there is only 1 speaker on the bottom... i repair apple devices for a living so before you think that the holes on the left side of the lightning port are a speaker look it up, its actually just for one of the 3 microphones and to keep the phone symmetrical... people are so dumb...

Still have my original 4GB phone, (w/ battery life of 5-7 minutes, LOL. Would love to get a new battery for that - also have to see how to dropped it to version 1.0). Still have the box and the special black iPhone bag with the phone image on it. Back then, it was pretty darn special...you got the dock, 30 pin cord, ear buds, charging power brick AND even the microfiber cloth that said "iPhone" on it. Today...just a phone and cord, dropping $700-1200+. I do remember the uproar after the 4GB was discontinued just a few months after the late June 2007 release, Apple was cool and offered us a gift card.

You´re lucky guy! I have an same model bought in 2009. It´s a survivor, cause it works perfectly. has box and all accessories. Here in Brazil it was not officially sold. I keep it very carefully and working.

@@cockcock6821 Yeah. I know I never would spend $3,000 on anything old thats supposedly sealed up never used. For a collectable, I remember I bought a first generation iPod touch in excellent condition for about $20 and still holds a charge all day and has iOS 1.1.5. A very early version of iOS that was made even before the app store existed. I can still use it today to listen to music. I just had to use an old version of iTunes, like one from before 2010 since the updated one wouldn't recognize it, but still works perfectly as a regular iPod.

I got scammed twice on eBay. Appealed both times over the phone & online. eBay said "There was nothing we can do". Bought two products that never showed for 3+ months. Still haven't showed up yet...but nice to hear that eBay is able to help SOME people out. But I'd say 50% they ACTUALLY help out -maybe even less.

I was in collage when this came out.

When I got my first iPhone 4gb, there's literally no feeling like using it for the very first time after coming from a blackberry curve. It was mind blowing how far ahead it was. I loved it. I still go back and watch that keynote sometimes.

I disagree. 2g was all we had. It was horrible. Everyone else was on 3g. Couldn't send pics or videos, everyone else could. It was really cool in some ways, really shitty in many others.

the first iphone ever used was the 2g that my grandma and grandpa bought the day after it came out and when i used it i thought it was just the coolest thing ever and i would just sit on the phone all day playing the most simple games and to see how far iphone has come typing this on an iphone XS is really cool!!
