I probably need to do a follow-up to this video. I did actually get a hold of the company and they did confirm a couple things for me, but I ended up moving and haven't really done much with the watch since. Also, I need to replace the batteries and I'd like to know how difficult it's going to be to find the correct ones and so on before uploading a new video

Original Grain HQ is around San Diego, CA. Seen their watches at the Earth Fair in 2016.

They did write back to me saying the watches are made in China. Solid feel and looks beautiful though!

I apologize. I should have started with a sharper knife and The camera angle also makes it feel like I was a lot closer to the package than I actually was. At some point I may go over some cutting techniques and things like that but that knife was definitely past the point of being a safe option lol

Bummer about the battery. What up with that. 😂

Probably cuz it came from China, so they’re probably overpriced

That watch sucks don’t buy it it will break in a couple weeks and they won’t care they will make you pay more to get a different one then they will not even answer emails anymore

They're certainly far far overpriced, and you get the kind of service that you normally get with someone who makes all their money off being a middleman for Chinese knockoffs, or at least that's the way it appears

If it helps I own one. Got it a couple of years ago. It is pretty awesome and durable. I hit tables, corners and even my dog leaned on it and it does not have a single scratch. I'd buy from them over anyone, my experience with it is great.

You don't have to watch, but it's not like KZread even allows a channel this small to run ads. People simply uploading videos because they feel like it Don't have any real incentive except what interests them. Personally, I do almost exclusively spur of the moment videos and would not upload otherwise. Not everyone will enjoy those videos, but some people will, and normally if I upload something it's because I believe there's something offered that no one else has really covered, although I'm not sure that that is still the case for this video. When it was uploaded the KZread content related to this particular watch was so small that even at its poor quality and meager length this video constituted somewhere around a quarter of the available content on KZread pertaining to this particular product.

You wasted your money dude don't buy these fashion watches you're paying so much for a watch that they just dropped from AliExpress for 10 bucks so the quality sucks it has no heritage etc

There a company called original grain they have 160K+ on Instagram. Amazing watch makers taking materials like wood and creating a beautiful watch your not finding that on Ali express mate 😂

People will not watch your video based on visual mistakes, your review shouldn’t have been published. Take your time and do it right
