What timing--I've been getting into watching your videos over the last few weeks, and I just saw this one for the first time today...one day after finding out about the passing of the professor who taught all my music theory and ear-training classes. I guess it had already been a year, but it is still fresh news for me; I've thought several times over the last few months about getting back in touch with him to ask about his book of solfege patterns that I'd like to use with my piano students. I don't know much about what he believed in, but I still use a lot of the concepts he taught me when I play piano in church, and hindsight shows me that God indeed chose him to teach me about music fundamentals.
