ORIGINAL EGBUREGBU | AFRICAN VILLAGE COOKING NATIVE DELICACY | IGBO VEGETABLE SOUP | IGBO EDIKAIKONG
Ойын-сауық
EGBUREGBU is a native soup (African delicacy) of the Edda( Afikpo south) people of Ebonyi state, Igbo, biafra, southeast, eastern, Nigeria. It is one of the best African delicacy originating from Ebonyi state.
In this video we prepared it in a funny and interesting way. It is my way of sharing our unique African culture. It is a complete village vlog and an Igbo way of preparing vegetable soup.
I really hope you enjoyed it. #Abakaliki people
Must watch, please like and share.
Thank you.

The road to the market is very good and smooth with the beautiful buildings by the sides, I know the rate of inflation in Nigeria is top notch, people are living by God’s Grace. This so much talked about Afikpo soup is very, rich, delicious and healthy, your sis nailed it, it’s a great skill washing the ugu twice. I really enjoyed watching .

My friend from Afikpo, Ifeanyi Ejem, prepared this soup for me in 1991, while we were students at Amuwo Odofin High School Mile2 Lagos. I never forgot the soup because it was a Banger. I now know the name of the soup and will prepare it again. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

One thing I have noticed about you is #originality You don't form unnecessary posh. U act like all these white KZreadrs that travel across rural Kenya, Ethiopia, Gambia etc. Theses guys don't mind sleeping in a Hut and tents Joining the locals in all their domestic activities. Kudos Ma.

Why is crayfish not added?
@HelensCorner
Жыл бұрын
You prepared it as it is originally made
I noticed no crayfish,so I need crayfish right?
@HelensCorner
Жыл бұрын
You don't add crayfish in the original egburegbu but if you add on your own is not bad. But we didn't add crayfish because that is the original way to cook it.
From evert indication the soup derived its name from how the vegetable is being butched lol. That lady would do very well running a youtube cooking channel with her detailed explanations. That's an expensive pot of blood tonic.

Edda native soup. Not Ebonyi native soup. As much as I like to share this wonder of a soup with the world, I enjoy that it's not so popular. Lest, they bastardize it
