Gosh Gretchen, your beginning food is terrific! I love the memories that come back with looking at an old friend with fresh eyes. And the watch/clock is perfect! I gave my forty year old Roper away with a dollhouse I gave to a children’s hospital when my sister came to stay with me, and my craft room and sewing room became her living area. I had no idea how expensive it would be to replace! Thank you for sharing this with us. This house is marvelous, you should be so proud of it!

Thank you Kim! Yes that Roper stove is iconic and truly expensive now! Back in the day when Daddy bought it it cost $40 which was a lot of money for 10 year old girl to get a gift like that!

Oh my word you are Amazing at what you make. That little crate with the sweet potatoes and carrots just blew me away. I really Loved that. You can say your Daddy loved you with what he bought you for your dollhouse. Your ice box was real cute. The children today probably don't know what and ice box is. You are Amazing at making the food and I love how you put them on your pot. I love your little stories you tell. You hutch was so cute with all those cans. That sure was a nice stove and sink your Daddy bought you. I must say you took very good care of them. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. So until next time God Bless you and have a Blessed evening and stay safe my dear and Special Friend. ❣️👭💕

There's so much to talk about in the Kitchen Gretchen! 😍 I Adore The Grandmother Clock..what a wonderful idea..I also have my grandmothers tiny gold watch and some earrings. I will be hanging her pix soon..😊 The out of scale silverware look as tho they might make a good fit on the wall for decor...🥰 The cabbage in the sink was a favorite...very realistic! I can't wait to get some time to do some kitchen food..its been awhile..since I've had a polyclay day..lol and I do wana make some biscuits and muffins..🥰 I love seeing the progress..it's something to be proud of 😘 ..I love the bench under the sink another fav...another day for wooded tid-bits..I'll have to see what I have when it's time to make the kitchen knives with your handle techniques 😊 My Aunt use to make bread dough clay too 😇 Im pretty sure my hutch must be from the same company..bc it has all the same features with the pullout cutting board..I also modified mine as well..I knew it was vintage..but not sure how old...I love how you added the legs..I changed the hardware and took off a door..I made a silverware drawer and an enamel top ...I'll definitely make a post on IG and share it with you, I followed you ..🤗maybe it will give you some inspiration..it's also that celery green, as is my kitchen..I just rolled with the color bc its a very vintage color and well, my kitchen came that way 🤗 💖

Talk about facepalm! Like DUH! Of course I should be making more, not only does it mean I get more practice making things so I get better at it but I will also have things ready for whatever comes next. Swinging door!!!! Yes the place I grew up in had a swinging door between the formal dining room and the kitchen. We ate regular meals in the kitchen, played board games, etc. Dining room could be completely closed off , there was the swinging door but also fancy double doors that were usually left open. We ate special occasion meals in there, birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, guests. There was carpeting in there could be a big reason why. The swinging door was handy if your hands were full.

I think you are being hard on yourself. Your hand made items look fine. Items must be 100 years old to be antique. Vintage items would be 45 years old.

LOLOLOLOL! Thank you gellrb! I guess by being almost 60, I'm Past Vintage and Nearly an Antique, so my perception may be skewed! LOLOLOL! My Original Dollhouse and most of it's contents definitely qualify as VINTAGE. Thank you for watching!
