Everybody is hating on the narrator, but that was generally the narration style from the 40s up until around the 80s I would say. It's just the way they did it back then.

No. I have seen 50’s B-movies with narration delivered a thousand times more enthusiastically than this. This isn’t ‘the way it was’, it’s crap even for the time.

@@Mr_Bunk Agree, this guy is normally very good at the narration, he seemed distracted during the Wild Willy ad.

The narration is just blabber, but everytime a Wild Willy is pulling a wheelie it just puts a smile on my face...coolest RC car ever!

Imagine if this commercial was ever on TV it’s over 2 1/2 minutes long The narrator doesn’t sound like he’s reading from a script he pauses as if he doesn’t understand what he is saying

I think he used the script to roll a joint then shared it with the music production crew and imagined himself driving the wild willy while narrating.

The narration and music belonged to an older gentler time...younger people will neither appreciate it nor understand it sadly...but hey it is what it is! What I really want to know is how do they make them pop wheelies seemingly so easily or is this in slow mo?

They need to bring those back they would sell like hotcakes even the longer wheelbase of the old style.

Pretty much every single thing the narrator says is a blatant lie. Still, this is the greatest RC model ever produced.

I love Tamiya. 23 years of pure lose with this company and their cars. But I have to admit, this is cheesy 😅
