Crisis On Infinite Earths was the first big DC event I got into. I was 18, and fairly new to comics. I thought it would be another JLA\JSA crossover. I didn't think anything major would occur. Then, I bought the first issue... Man, was I wrong! I never missed an issue!

Never minding the fact that the monitor, anti- monitor, world forger, and perpetua exist outside the multi-verse otherwise known as the Omni-verse

One of the most Iconic stories and Iconic images of gigantic Spectre vs gigantic Anti-Monitor going all out it was the most epic fight ever, I can only imagine seeing both of these giants facing off each other in a live action film on the big screen I would probably get up of my seat of excitement.

Well even after Mobius got disconnected from the anti life equation, he was still evil. He still tried killing all the heroes and what not.

I have a question... If the vanishing point is a point where time and space does not exist, then when the paragons got out of the vanishing point, would they go back in the future or go back to when crisis even started

I love the Arrowverse and DC comics' superheroes; I follow all of the major Arrowverse shows (though I admit "The Flash" is my favorite). With the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover going on, when family asked what to get me for Christmas this year, I told them that I wanted the "Crisis on Infinite Earths Giant #1" (since that one's out before Christmas, and it's been announced that the comic apparently factors into the crossover). None of the rest of my family are comic book fans; I've always been the only who's into superheroes (which I've loved basically my whole life). That being said, when I told them that, as of now, the book's only available at Walmart, my sister has stated that she feels like a nerd going into the store and asking for help finding it (though my family's been unsuccessful in getting it, and has asked me about other gift ideas).

Hopefully if the DC movies can get it together, maybe one day we can Crisis On Infinite Earths on the big screen and see the Anti Monitor as the most imposing and powerful super villain in the history of cinema.

Also legal problems started cropping up. Certain characters who was phased out & to be brought back. Check out the interviews with the creative staff about this.

The Ant-Monitor is a great villain in the DC Universe .I have liked him picking up the issues of Crisis on Infinite Earths ,And in later picking up the trade paper back or graphic novel ,As well the sequel to it which called Infinite Crisis which also great well .I did get any other part the Crisis series. .Like Final Crisis ,But I am getting off point .All I say the Ant-Monitor is just as mean and evil as Darkseid ,And not that far off in the powers area as well .But still cool as always Airris .

I wonder if Darkseid is a reincarnated god that preceded the old and new gods, and only appeared a son to the father he's known to have in one of multiple incarnations? If so, maybe he is Perpetua's old ex, father of her three sons. Maybe that's why he was standing prepared for her.

so is the anti monitor we see in the new 52 (forever evil, darkseid war) the same anti monitor from the pre flashpoint timeline? DC wiki lists them and the Mar Novu created by Perpetua as separate characters from their pre flashpoint counterparts, they have different histories.

I have a feeling that in the CW version at least 2-3 Earths will survive at least earth 666 which is Lucifer’s earth and earth 9 which is Titans/Doom Patrol universe and my wish is that earth 96 which I believe was Kingdom Come Superman’s earth played by Brandon Routh. That way you could have Brandon Routh Pop up for crossovers again since he is so good as Kingdom Come Superman and I don’t think Ray will make it past Crisis neither will Oliver who is technically dead but we still need the big Oliver moment that is very emotional and have everyone say a proper goodbye.
