Thank you for the video. I was able to complete the seahorse. It was difficult occasionally to see the folds because hands blocked activity. I just winged it when that happened.

I started this origami but wondering... I have a paper with a colored side and a plain side: which side has to be up to avoid getting a plain seahorse ??

ADORABLE! I just made this (and your video was wonderfully easy to follow along, though I frequently found myself saying "Wait, what?" and going back a bit, but that's just me) and it turned out *much* better than I expected; it's going up on my workplace Origami Wall tomorrow morning. Thank you!

My kid wanted me to make this. I had to rewatch some of the folds many times to get it right. I was using construction paper so the thickness didn't make it an easier. It turned out awesome. Thanks for the video.

I did't follow at all on this, most of the time your hands were in the way and I could't see what to fold. Your really good though!

I get stuck at 6:00 minutes- is that fold just to form a crease? His left arm is in the way- I can't figure it out

Thank you for this, I am a complete beginner, the only thing I have done is a dragonfly just before this video. It was challenging but I managed it, I really liked how you pointed at what you were going to do and at the folds. Thanks again and keep it up.

I agree with most of the comments here, I've been doing origami for about 3 years, and there were times when I had trouble keeping up, or seeing what you were doing. It's not a lack of quality in the video, but it wouldn't hurt if you slowed it down a little, and maybe added in a caption or two when it gets unclear. Overall fantastic design, but the execution could have been better. In terms of KZread origami, you couldn't expect better, and thank you for posting, and I apologize on behalf of everyone just senselessly slamming your work.

It was very hard to see certain parts of the video as your fingers were blocking a lot of what you were doing. I had to rely on past experience to do some of the steps, but I did make it on the first try. Good tutorial! Just move your fingers a bit please. :)

Struggle with the small detail but Very manageable with the all.

it ended up a mess because I couldn't see the actual paper. it wasn't very clear at all what I was meant to do.

I agree, mostly. There is a difference between ability and lack of effort. I accomplished this no problem, but if I set my brother onto this (who couldn't fold his way out of a cardboard box) and shouted at him for being lazy when he couldn't do it, nothing would be accomplished. Try saying what you were in a more encouraging way. Not because I don't want to hurt the little snowflakes feelings, but because nobody's an expert at first, and everyone who's even remotely familiar to origami has started a project that was too hard and got discouraged, and in light of that a little encouragement can go a long way.

Great point. I sometimes have to make lots of NOrigami until I get it right, but it is so awesome to make it work after a few tries.
