Origami Phoenix by Lien Quoc Dat - Part 1

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

When we first saw a picture of this model, our mind was blown!
Making a tutorial for this model is truly a dream coming true! We would like to thank Lien Quoc Dat for collaborating with us and giving us permission, as well as Gonzalo Garcia Calvo for his picture.
Lien makes so called 'money origami', so you could actually fold this model from money bills!
Check out Lien's KZread channel: / @lqdorigami

This video was made in several parts because it's complex and needs some time for a good explanation so here are the other parts:
Paper used in the video: 5 squares of Nicolas Terry's yellow tissue foil 20x20cm/ 8x8 inch cut into half squares. www.origami-shop.com/soie-met...
Level: Complex. But surprisingly easy for the impressive result!
Enjoy!

Shiny side up or down? Edit: down apparently, but obvs it depends for different colour tissue foil I always have trouble deciding which side is "white"/"colour" for tissue foil lol

Normally shiny side is 'white' except for golden and copper tissue foil. Our apologies for being unclear in that part.

Yes indeed you need 10 papers with ratio 1:2, so a square cut in two. I think printer paper can work as well
