We had never heard about Syn until Nicolas Terry published a book with models designed by him. We were immediately stunned by the unique style, genius folding sequences and surprising color changes. Huge thanks for the tutorial, i managed to fold this after a few days of picking it up and putting it down. Syn's models are serious origami! That complex open and closed sink for the chest is a tough step! I don't think I could have done it with the diagrams alone

Hi JM Great model! Is there a way that I can prevent the paper from ripping on some harder steps? It happens a lot.

By being super careful in the difficult steps, but with some papers you just can't avoid... So maybe you have to look for other (origami) papers

Yes Satogami is well suited for this model. But be aware that you maybe have to colour it on one side to have the colour difference on the tail, mane... Have fun!
