I really loved doing this project! People at work loved how majestic it looks even on regular run-off-the-mill printer paper :D For all whiners out there: this is NOT a beginner tutorial! Make sure you know your basic folds very well before you attempt this crane.

True this is complicated technique so far many ways to fold peacock.
Folding this after not doing origami for a long time felt very therapeutic for me. Thankyou Nakashima sensei
turns out beautiful with a nice colorful paper. thank you!
well, that was sooo hard, especially learning the squash fold, but I did it! :) looks great thank you!

The open sink is harder for me bc I can’t do Sinks :(
Squash-fold at 6:16 was giving me the shits but I found placing my index finger in the bottom hole before opening the paper up to squash helped significantly.
Hi Jo! You are such an expert origamist! your pieces of origami are all great, just a few models I can copy and make, others always fail. I wonder if you ever think of building an origami house where people can visit and enjoy all the wonder of your origami display. Great!
It feels like such an accomplishment when you can make what's shown in the video. My jaw dropped when I unfurled the tail of the crane. I was like "shit i probably messed it up" but it turned it really nice. Thank you for the tutorial!
it takes a little time to get tje squash folds right and neat but the result is just so beautiful!
thank for your instructions, i started today and i can already do the crane and the peacock ^^ trying this one now!
@Origami1410 I have a few models designed by myself on my channel but recently I'm not creating anything new
absolutely gorgeous! Thanks
oh my GOSH this is the first i have ever seen this crane thank you very much :D
I like to fold this origami crane in Christmas, it looks great with golden paper and hanging from the Christmas tree. Thank you very much for the tutorial and Happy Holidays! 🎅👼🤶💖🎄🙏👍🎈💖
So beautiful, wanna try out now right away😍😍
Complicated but I will try to add more knowledge in folding peacock. So many ways but this one look gorgeous than any other.

I like your hands :D! Lol thanks for the tutorial
olá, muito bom esses tutoriais,se for possível, seria melhor por um fundo mais escuro para dar um contraste com a cor do papel
Thank you this was very helpful, and I got it on my first try!
i did it! and the gold dust on the paper got onto my fingers, but its a sign of my accomplishment!
Thanks for the tutorial :)

it helps when you put your index finger in the little hole on the bottom and smooth the inside out first. for the smaller ones i used a small knitting needle to guide the paper
