She's fantastic and one of the greatest guitarists ever and she's got a long career ahead of her. I've been in the music business for 50 years & she's a big part of Alice's show, and he know it and spotlights her continually. He's no fool. Her platying speaks for itself. I saw her live in a small club not that long ago in L.A. and she blew the roof off the place. The other 2 guitarists are very good, but niowhere in Orianthi's league and never will be. She's still progressing & gets better daily

She's playing over the top blues based stadium hard rock because that's what Alice Cooper music is. No one says she is the best but she belongs up there on the big stage because she's good enough to be up there. Every guitar player has flaws whether their fans want to hear it or not!

I just saw the show last week. She's with him.

She is still with him. Just saw them on Wednesday and Thursday. Absolutely brilliant

I saw her with Alice Cooper/Iron Maiden this week. I definitely did not expect shredder guitar style when I first saw her on stage. There were two other guitar players and I thought for sure one of them was lead. By the end of the set I was just like damn, who is this hot little shredder chick lol.

Honestly She is one of this generations best guitarist

I love the image and style she's portraying now all the way down the sound. She can rock it. \m/

Oh so she's the reason why Alice Cooper is still popular Her guitar licks are nice and crystal clear.

Orianthi isnt in Alice Coopers band anymore. i think she started a solo pop band or something, im not sure. Orianthi has been replaced by one amazing and talented Nita Strauss, who is all that and more. I seriously suggest googling some of her work, its incredible. Nita shreds like a boss, much better than this...but to be honest, Alice Cooper is the reason both of these chicks are popular now (not saying they dont deserve to be, both are very talented) but Alice Cooper is actually the most talented person up there. people go to see Alice Cooper, these chicks happen to be on stage, and make the show better. I highly recommend going to a Cooper show if you get the chance. I saw him open for Motley Crue, and I was surprised and amazed. Coopers show goes beyond a regular metal show, its seriously like performance theater art more than just some band. very dramatic, acting out all the songs with skits full of costumes and props, its very dark and he tells a story as he pulls you in. very captivating.

leanonethe oneoenone Orianthi is from Adelaide Australia and she is a session guitarist and songwriter and she played in the ill fated Michael Jackson tour. Thanks I have looked up Nita Strauss shes awesome and is an excellent replacement for Orianthi. Alice Coopers music is so raw anyway, he does have a thing for blonde guitarists, think it goes back to the Glen Buxton days I saw him way back in his Schools Out days tour back in 1973 or 74 in Australia and they (the band) blew me away. He still rocks now , thanks to his good choice of guitarists.

i had to look up orianthi after a recent alice cooper show. my first first impression (@ the show): savage&salacious, yet soft&sincere. perfect for an alice cooper show.

I saw her play with Alice on the Iron Maiden tour. She stole the show from both bands. Sure there are the haters out there and sure people are entitled to their opinions but find a copy of Violet Journey, an import album she made almost entirely on her own at the age of 16 and you will hear the real Orianthi. Some idiot record exec put her on American Idol and steered her towards pop but that is not what this woman is all about. I hope the best is still yet to come. She has now left Alice so it will be interesting to see what comes next.

I read about her and she started plying guitar when she was 2 and she could play anything you told her to, like a modern day motzart.

Alice(Vincent) always surrounds himself with the best of the best. This girl rocks. She is very good looking, but really she proves her metal here. Alice is a good guy, met him talked, really cool kind man....

McCampbell. Newest issue of Guitarworld mentions that she will be continuing touring with Alice in 2013. Shes probably just been busy with her new record.

i saw AC and agree, love live shows and sound/vocals aren't always best, but AC is theatrics and GREAT guitar playing!! Plus it's nice to 'see' the songs live I grew up listening to.

I don't know O''s real reason for playing with such people out of her league, but I'll bet she has family in the music business that pushed her onto the scene. And by the way, when you've played 'Classical', Flamingo', & all genres of Metal for 28 years, then I'll consider your comment.

Hmmmm....it must have been in her contract that she gets front time because I have never seen Alice let a guitar player in front like that ever! She is very talented. I wonder why she isn't with him anymore?

Nita Strauss is a good raplacement for Alice, technically similar and with a heavier vibe... but I would have chosen Courtney Cox any single day over Orianthi or Nita.

Only in your mind pal. She's right there near the top and young enough that she'll continue to get better and better, and she's already great. She can go nose to nose with Slayer or any metal guitarists, or play the blues, rock, or anything she wants to. She kept right up with Steve Vai when they played together, and Steve doesn't play with any "mediocre" musicians. I've been in the music business for 50 years and I know great talent when I hear it. Sorry merc, THAT'S the truth.

Oh come on. If you know any thing about musical chemistry than certainly it is clear that the last great song by the band called Alice Cooper was "Hard Hearted Alice" Much like "Let It Be" was with the Beatles, so was the late great AC. Destine as there swan song & into history. Also the original band finally received credit for being what they were, from the shit hole known as the" Sock Fall of Same". Mr Bruce deserves credit for most "still" played songs by Alice to this day. There!!!

Sorry dude. Alice is about Alice, and I couldn't give a fuck less who his backup band is. I saw him 30 years ago and I saw him last year fronting Iron Maiden. It was still about Alice, the only difference being Orianthi was the best guitar player he ever employed.

Well you had good influences then I will admit, but I find your dislike of stadium shows strange. In spite of the sound usually sucking overall, and the prices they charge, that's where the money is and that's all that matters to the executives. I saw her in a small blues club a while ago and she was incredible and better than90% of the guitarists. Bonnaroo this past weekend ended with a superior set from Alice Cooper. His voice is shot, but it didn't matter. She was spotlit during most of it.

It's too bad she only writes pop rock albums. She doesn't have the hard rock voice so why doesn't she team up with a female hard rocker vocalist? There's lots of them out there who are the only female member of their hard rock bands. It would be nice if Orianthi can have her own tour instead of just making appearances on other band's live performances.

...and you've never even heard or heard of Wyatt Valentine, have you? I saw her in a small club recently and she blew the roof off. I've been in the music business for 50 years and have just retired from rpoducing and am now playing the blues for kicks around L.A. and touring once in a while with some great guitarists, and she belongs right there with the best. Music progresses daily and I think you haven't caught on yet. Very average..LOL. You Brits do have a sense of humor I see.

She is obviously a very talented guitar player but if I am going to se AC I don't want to hear Eddie Van if you can dig it. If you walked in to these Cooper concerts you can't tell what used to be the "real" Alice Cooper. No offense Alice but when Glenn went to heaven, many wish you would have gotten back with the real band for many years.

She is getting there but it always feel like her timing is off. Not saying she sucks at all..... but she isn't close to taking over Vai or Carlos. If a female is going to take Vai's spot its more likely to be Jeniffer Batten who has way better chops and alot more sense of timing. Too many people equate fast speed playing with being amazing. Batten has it down better on any side of the coin....
