I gotta say I think this cover just to grab some nostalgia attention as it is one of the most memorable song in the era, everyone want to become like them and it's great for them too as all the holoid got to be in one studio making it like reunion after a long time and after seeing your reaction and commentary I gotta say, yeah this cover is pretty lazy compared to the original, btw love your reaction, please make more, I really like how you do reaction and give it a proper commentary like not just stare at the screen without saying anything☺️

Yeah agree. They probably don't even do the vocal take in a music studio. This is most likely just a small project with limited budget and time so that's why we don't see stuffs like ad-lib and harmonization. It's a quite a legendary song for us Indonesian so the fact that they chose to cover this alone is already very awesome and really brings back memories.

Indeed if you talk in music zone, there so much lack in terms of music quality. But if you talk in marketing zone, holoID have hard perms for cover Indonesian song because copyright, so this one will be first jump to gain more indonesian viewers by the nostalgic feels

Even the cover itself started from jokes between Iofi and her fans. Stuff like old 2010 song, viral song in that time, and "guess vtuber age" "oh you old Yopi! 😂". Even fans caught off guard(?) About yopi realize this cover. Maybe they only do this only for fun and nostalgic purpose. And from what i can see they get that purpose.

as far as i know they make this cover song under 1 month. its kinda rush too for me, i dont know why they rush it though. about the "its just karaoke" stuff, you point that right FR.at first they just wanna sing a old song for nostalgic, but who know they will cover it for project because of copyright problem that kinda hard here.

well... There are some people do that in literally every single video. But when I find a song that I like while reacting to it, I will not pretend like I don't like it either, I will vibe and give praises. E.g. Tokyo Wabi Sabi Lullaby - Gawr Gura

Wow, I didn't recheck the original and I didn't know that it is actually better. All I remember about this song is back in 2010 it was so cheesy, some people found it cringe, almost like a meme song. So with that thought in mind, when I watched the cover I can't really tell if it's better or worse because it feels as cheesy as the original.
