You really are handling things well now that you are a mom and being realistic and enjoying your baby.

Make sure some nap time is used for "you" time as well. Reading, painting, time out on your patio, chatting with Christopher. (I'm sure you're doing that too, but I know the pressure to get cleaning done is real.)

However much I love setting aside a couple (or more) hours to do a deep clean, as I've grown older and busier with a full-time job I've found myself truly enjoying the little pockets of cleaning moments here and there. When I just have five extra minutes to vacuum all the crumbs and stuff off of the kitchen counter, and then put away a couple of things before I run out the door, I feel a little bit on top of the world! Hope you're loving this season of life and embracing the balance of mess and beauty, it looks like you are💗

Oh my, Oliver already outgrew some of his clothes…that goes really awfully hard. Nice to see you are slowly growing into the life with a little one, really good that you stopped after doing the mirror and allowing yourself to finish it tomorrow or the day after. You are doing a great job 🤍🩵💜

You are such a graceful mom! My son is 16 months and while my bandwidth is certainly a bit more than it was when he was a NB, I still have to pick and choose what I can realistically accomplish in a day so I completely relate! You are finding such a great balance.

My instinct would be to get someone in to do deep cleaning once a month and give myself a break. Getting rid of clutter is the biggest part of the 'cleaning', but then all the washing the floors, counters, cabinets, mirrors, etc. would be so nice to hand off to someone else to do.

Idky ur cleaning & organizing videos are so soothing to watch. I could watch them all day. I (myself) have been inspired to cleaning & organizing my closet. Gonna donate to the Salvation Army and I gave one bag of clothes to one of my coworker (I think she takes them to a shelter, not really sure) but anyways ur an inspiration

Ashlynne, you should invest in a nice robot vacuum. I just got the Roborock a few months ago and I’m obsessed. Goodness it makes my life easier. But especially with a golden retriever 😅 but I think I would want/love one whether I had a dog or not. It mops too. It’s not the deepest clean but definitely suffices for those times your floors need it but you don’t have the time or energy to mop.

I love your new style since becoming a mom.

Great cleaning job Ashlynn! I just am wondering though if you'll go back to minimalism! I started my minimalist journey with you and Joshua Becker some years ago. I do know being minimal does cut down on cleaning!

Ever since watching one of your much earlier videos when you had recommended Blueland, I had wanted to buy it, but was wanting to be frugal and not do that. Well yesterday, I finally jumped on board and ordered the starter set! It's going to be here any day and I can't wait to clean everything, haha...❤ Since I had waited so long the link was expired...But I made sure to put in your name at the end when it asked who had recommended it❤❤ Sending hugs to your sweet family!! Hey, you can also benefit a lot from a robot vaccum and mop, it saves lifes 🙂🙂
