Helpful hint... Onions emit ethylene gas which causes your potatoes to spoil quicker so they shouldn’t be stored together. You don’t have to discard your spices immediately when they hit their expiration date. They are considered shelf stable, however with time they will loose their potency and flavor. You have a lovely home and family and certainly look great for just having had another baby. Love how the pantry turned out. Especially love the white baskets with leather trim.

Where did you get the clear containers?

I sort my spice jars per color, like beiges in one row, reds in another, greens in a third and so on 😄

I love my Cricut. It’s wonderful for organizing, as well as scrapbooking and card making.

Spice racks: mount them on a large thin board and mount the board to the door. Make the board big enough to mount to the flat part of the door; wider than the door panels. Your command strips will continue to give way from the doors as time goes on.

I’ve seen other videos where they take mason jars and use different papers and washi tape on the lids. It’s great to use what you have available.

I have those spice jars, I love them, one of my best buys.

I like the new clear bins aesthetically but I can’t help noticing that they are smaller than the white bins and don’t hold as much. My favorite are the white baskets with the brown accents and the metal shelves on the floor. Hint for the flour. Freeze it for a couple days before decanting into your new containers. Freezing will kill off any eggs or larvae in the flour. This is quite a major project for a mom with a newborn and little ones and I applaud you. You look fantastic and your baby is beautiful. Congratulations!

I have those spice jars. Just re did my spice cabinet a few weeks ago. I think it looks great ....and they are in alphabetical order, so easier to find!!

I'm presently working on organizing my fridge, I'd love seeing how you organize your fridge, types of containers and where you put things. I've started with a few bins for fruit since I feed my kiddos a lot of fresh fruit and I hate the plastic containers they come in. Also if you consolidate food in other containers ie mason jars, ect. Thanks.

I've found that keeping nuts in the refrigerator keeps them fresher longer. It makes more space for other items.

You might like one of those over the door pantry organizers with shelves. They sell them at Walmart. I think it would look better than the shoe organizer. I just got one and I love it!

Nice final result. But you need separate baskets for potatoes and onions and garlics, because onions make potatoes goes bad faster. And the problem with command hooks is that you need to let them rest at least an hour before putting weight on them.

My dream pantry is also a walk-in I have a small cabinet for now

Love this! Just FYI potato’s and onions should not be stored together :) you can check some articles on why I think it had something to do with chemical reactions causing one another to spoil!

The result looks pretty, but I'm wondering how functional it will be in use. I've used Tupperware for my food storage with smaller containers in front so I can see what is in back. I do like the bins for canned goods. I use turn tables a lot as they make things easily accessible. Thanks for the tips you give. I use a two level turntable for my spices.

I alphabetize my spices too. NO shame! I may have to get matching jars now though. I don't necessarily have a pantry, so I use cabinets...with an extra shelf space in the garage for canned goods and things that won't freeze/go stale. I need to some of those lazy susans, too!
