I started with my room... I'm about 80% through but it's true, her method has made me love my living space... Every night after work, I can't wait to get home and relax in my reading corner, my desk or bed...

Marie Kondo has a great message. Get organized and keep that which makes you happy. Get rid of the crap that is weighing you down. There is stuff in your house you don't need or use. It is a push toward common sense. The message is delivered by an attractive, sweet woman with a little sex appeal thrown in. Her books are easy reading and even if you only accept 80% of her message your life will be better.

Such a beautiful lady - she sparks joy :). The translator, Marie, is lovely too!

I just started, I'm super tired, but feel really light as I get rid of stuff that I don't need in my life anymore, and that will give joy to someone else

Would be great if Marie Kondo will learn English I am sure she has the talent. It is time for her to do it by herself without a translator

No she doesn't need to do that just because you are to lazy to learn Japanese. The whole world doesn't need to speak English. Respect her for being Japanese.

Well.... she is speaking English now, one of her first talk in English was on SXSW 2017. She is outstanding. I´m KonMari Consultant in training. I took her seminar in NY and she did not spoke English in August 2016.

bitesizefirst well she needs to if she is going to do talks in the US all the time. Since she is coming from Japan TO the US to plug her book and make profit and whatever, it’s pretty reasonable for people to demand her to learn English. It will be another deal if people are going to Japan to listen to her talk and such, then it will be pretty reasonable for the people to learn English. It’s all about who has the initiative.

She's matching Marie's tone very well, which makes it a pleasure to listen to. Nothing worse than having a passionate speaker but a monotone translator.
