90% organic and rest 10% I use it paid ads whenever I publish an article more than 5000 words. After then it goes viral.

Excellent Video clip! Forgive me for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you considered - Soyurpar Breathtaking System (do a google search)? It is a great one off guide for getting free traffic to your site minus the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my cousin at very last got great success with it.

Very true, On one cooking blog website that I created over 6 years through SEO, KZread & IG Link, still getting traffic and still on top of Google. Just started an eCommerce 15 days ago started PPC 3 days ago and getting quick results of traffic but no sales yet, it will take time with a/b testing, etc and of course leveraging. Great video!

Neil thanks for your video. I got a question is it accurate to say if your site ranks high organically will your cost per click be lower with Google ads? Will that mean that your quality score is better and then bring the cost down? I hear what you say about long content for pay traffic that your rather want them to buy and not read content? With paid traffic you are going for a sale so you can drive people to a more direct landing page and not long-form content. Long-form content is way better for ranking and driving organic traffic.

Hey Neil, a little off topic but what is a good conversion rate for blog content? I ask for a users email via light box and in article opt ins and my conversions on my blog posts are only around 1%

It depends but 1% is a bit low. Try testing new opt-ins and new copy.

hey Neil, I'm a little confused as to where I can find a trustworthy place to learn all these skills, I've been having a really hard time trying to figure out which "course" or which tutorial is good to start with. Thank you neil for this video. I own small digital marketing company that specializes in SMB's, I know that the ideal situation is to" play" both channels....but most of my clients wanna to get the most results in the less possible time and money 🤠 So in this "mind set" Would you say that in 2021 the key factor in choosing paid media or paid + organic strategy would be the product / service complexity and price? I mean if i need to market very simple and low cost service (for example leads for Pilates studio) it be enough for me to use Facebook /Instagram ads but if my goal is leads for real estate or insurance (for example) so i need to combine an organic content in order to help me to "heat up" the potential client ( because in this case the retention takes more time) and to give them more "hooks" along the way in order to influence their desicion.

Honestly the answer is somewhat complex and the best thing you can do is to really hear the clients needs and test with different advertising platforms :) Google Ads is a great way to get leads and sales as well.

@@neilpatel thanks for the quick response. Yes , definitely Google ads is a great tool - i use it under the paid channel that i offer my customers. I give each new prospect a personal meeting in order to hear his/her goals and needs but eventually they come to me as an expert to give them solutions. I don't have the privilege ( mainly time and money) from those clients to experiment with channels and especially that seo is a long Time channel to generate results. That's why i try to figure a "system" to direct businesses to the relevant and best ROI solution for them for the start. After they see results offcourse i can expend for more marketing directions.

Hi Neil! Thanks, for the video. One question....does doing paid advertising help with SEO? For example...I ran ads on facebook and Bing...increased my viewers by 30% and google seemed to notice and I seemed to get more organic traffic as a result...but I don't know if it benefits SEO or not.

It doesn't help directly. It could indirectly over time by helping with your branding, getting more shares, getting people to build links to you if they see you are providing value, etc

I was thinking it might be good to go for max impressions since it's a new campaign and then once Google gets data on which ads are converting, swapping it out for max conversions. It'd probably be best in the long-run to figure it out myself though and not rely on an algorithm. Thanks for responding. Super impressed with the response time as well!

In the long term it will be way better for you. Once you stop paying for ads you will vanish. If you are already ranking organically, you will keep ranking.

For real estate I think SEO is much better. Some of our PPC keywords go up to $60 a click.

Yes!

One more benefit of paid ads is that you can do A/B testing easily. You can A/b test for organic traffic also but when the user lands on a blog page the tracking its impact on sales page is almost impossible.

I would avoid doing that because you can potentially get in trouble. When I mean pay someone for content and link building I mean hiring someone on your team to write guest posts, collaborate, do manual outreach to other sites, etc. Never buy links.

@@mehranqadri i don't think so google so expensive and he spend money with no result ...he should optomize his strategie as well ...seo he is not working for hem because or may be he will rank in keyword without conversion ....and the keyword with intent is so competitive like buy ...or cheap ....review ...he will may be rank in wrong keyword and he spend money on wrong place ....okey what i suggest is to reverse engering the way why hoj dont spy on other type top blog in "keyword" read articles and smy on their page content + spy on their lead magnet +create your own based on your search .....you can with this way to target pages of those sites and you can get more similar pages in facebook insight .... You principe of parito in this case ( 20% search get you 80% result )

You can offer a discount that leads them to a landing page where you collect their email (offer an opt in as well) and then email them the discount. This way you can grow your email list and do email marketing as well.

no paid ads anymore since Facebook Cambridge analytica scandal: I was mostly running FB custom scraped audiences: 40 euros per month was enough. With seo i rank quite okay

Very Interesting content as always, thank you Neil. I would just share a thought about those "ways" to advertising. 1) Paid Advertising = is for Big Shark Companies (Fat and stupid). But still, they have money$$$, so they are the best!! .. everyone knows what i mean ;) 2) SEO (long term strategy) = is for Brilliant Genius (but yet broken and hopeless). This kind of people still believe in the power of insight, long term strategy and.. patience (baaaammmm, yes i said that word..)
