I wanted to give you a HUGE shout out! I randomly found your video because I was trying to learn how to make balloon garland. A company quoted me $700 to make a 10ft garland, but after watching your video ONCE I did it myself for $40. You are amazing, keep making these videos!

Hi, I just want to thank so much for your demo. It turned out beautiful! I am an aspiring event decorator. I have a few party videos up on the KZread but I only showed the finish and not the process. I didn't want to show the flaws. I just want to say this video not only taught me how to make a balloon Garland but it encouraged to show the process! Thank you!

So imma write a novel here 😆 Don’t know how I missed this video! Disregard the email I sent when I panicked because a balloon deflated on me.🤣🤣 I didn’t know what to do and that thing laid me down!!😫😫😫 I didn’t think I could make garlands let alone design a pretty pattern. I haven’t gotten to the design part yet, but I will. I have been practicing with Dollar Tree balloons and have discovered a few things. A quality balloon is a real thing. DT balloons are irregular and aren’t always what the package says. Although I like the look of the balloons fully inflated, I see the importance of making them smaller and rounder. You have more material on the end of the ballon to tie it off or to something else. They are easier to manipulate in between the Ballons or if one pops. This video right here is extremely helpful. I learned you are the master of the string and the balloon goes where you want it to go. And this is a lot of work. I’m just practicing to get my speed up. I was in fear of balloons, never really liked them, but so many beautiful things can be done with them! You truly inspired me to give it a try. Thanks again for the great videos. Your spiritual gift is teaching and you’re gooooood!

Same here a confetti balloon popped and the confetti stuck to my glasses 😩 I’ve been practicing with $1 tree balloons to get my the gist of it and practice, i would do multiple garlands and hang them up and take pictures and leave them up a few days admiring them getting feedback from family and guest that happened to come over before popping them and taking it down to start another day! I’ll go through my pics and compare the garlands to monitor my growth. I’ve been buying quality balloons but buying them for my future event that I’m practicing for because qualatex balloons ain’t cheap and when on sale I’ll buy

I'm learning a lot from your videos, and I actually start to practice, it's intimidating, but I know I can do it. My question is which is better to do a garland? Fishing line or ribbon

Hi! First time watching you! 😊 how much time does it take you to do a garland that size?

Have you ever tried using fishing line to construct your garland? Do you also use any kind of sizing tool to ensure they come out the same size? Thank you!

Yes, I use fishing line sometimes. I haven’t used a sizer before. I’ve only done organic garlands.

Beautiful work, thanks for sharing, my question is, why didn't you use a fishing line instead of the ribbon?

  • @SharpeDesignsbyLakeisha

Thanks! I find it easier to work with the ribbon. I really only bother with fishing line when I’m using a lot of white or clear balloons.

Hey girl! Thanks so much for this video! I’m currently trying to make these for my baby shower. How close do you make these from the event? My baby shower is in 4 weeks and I want to start making these but am afraid of the balloons to deflate. Let me know! Xoxo

I’ve done them a week in advance. Good Luck!!! If it’s your first time blow up a few to practice. I kept my daughter balloons up after her birthday for a month. They last along time.

I’d love to say this arch is beautiful! And watching your videos inspired and helped me make arches for my daughters 4th birthday and my best friends bridal shower. I have a question about the little balloons... did you attach them the same way you did with adding the bigger balloons? Or was it a different technique? (Some ppl do glue dots for the really little ones) thanks in advanced!
