Funny because I already had the chance to talk with Mr. Deutsch when I was ten or so. I told him that I really enjoyed the concert he gave and that I want to play the organ myself and now I actually do. He is a great guy!

Vielen Dank Herr Deutsch !

Just a minor point about this tremendous instrument. One would think after all this time a better music rack system could be installed. It doesn't appear large (wide) enough for the oversized organ scores and seems to obscure the top (5th) manual. I kept worrying the score would fall off in the middle of a performance.

When the concert is extraordinary, there will be applause. We have this in Germany in the Duisburg Salvator Church where there will rise spontaneous applause after a well played piece by the organist, e.g.. pieces of Bach and Buxtehude and so on.

I have one question for you: is there some video explaining in detail the operation of the "combination action"? From the point of view of the console and the "memory bellows" would be fantastic! It must be SO ingenious... :0) Thank you!

A great beginning and firm Bach playing. Clearly a focused and talented player, but it wore off. The programme ended up being very weak. I was hoping he'd finish with the Bach 'Fugue' but it didn't happen. The excellent pacing of the first few pieces also wore off as he forgot where he was and played too fast for the building. A good start and lots of good things, but lots to learn from this as to what not to do.
