Everybody is forgetting who coaches the Oregon Ducks! Not trying to be mean at all but really, WHO has Washington played? I'm in no way saying they aren't a good football team, they are, but they stuggled with Cal & Arizona! Dan Lanning learned from the BEST & you can bet, KNOW, he WILL have his team ready for this game! NO WAY Lanning loses 2 years in a row! Calling 38-27 DUCKS WIN!

Washington beat Cal by 27 buddy, and Arizona is always a pesky team, the final score doesnt do it justice how domininant of a game it rly was for UW. As relatively easy as Washingtons schedule has been, Oregons has been 2x weaker.

Been a Duck fan for over 40 years and I’ve never seen a Ducks defense like this. The defense is what makes them better this year.

I been a duck fan since I was 14-15 years old I’m now 32 and I must say this team is special I feel it in the air this year Dan has brought that SEC mentality to Eugene 💛💚🦆🤝🏾

I believe Lanning is building something here. May not come to fruition this year, but I think he’s headed in the right direction. He’s a better recruiter and game manager than Cristobal.

Oregon can win this game if they play up to their best. Penalties and turnovers might make the difference. Go Ducks!

My favorite Costner movie is Field Of Dreams but For The Love of The Game is an all time classic as well. That moment where he "clears the mechanism" helped me learn how to zone in as a young ballplayer.

Oregon needs this win. Gosh dang it I’m so sick of hearing people bring up the stupid Georgia - Oregon game last season. This is a different team. Not Dan Lannings 1st ever coached game. Not playing a team 70 miles from their home field defending their first national title in 40 years Not Bo Nix first game in a new system with a new team Oregon is built stronger this season and they have that chip on their shoulder from hearing most people put UW and USC over Oregon all off season

What an excellent interviewer. It's always impressive when a reporter can get on Lanning's good side that quickly.

Penix reminds me of Vernon Adams back in the day. Had a big arm and threw such a pretty pass down field.

Not gonna sleep on the Huskies here, rivalry games are always huge. This feels like Oregon @ Washington 2019 all over again (close game as well) and i’m expecting the same outcome of another close game too. Can they stop Penix is the real question, I have faith in Oregons secondary but it’s stopping those big plays (40+ yard catches, 70+ yard catch down the seam) etc. Give me my Ducks 38-35 and good luck to the Fuskies 🙏🏻

Naw he said in an interview when asked how he felt about getting the call from oregon, "im lucky enough that my first HC position would also be my last" then you also have preseason PC saying "some have the mentality that grass is greener elsewhere when its damn green in eugene" Then factor in he played in group of 5 not the power 5 conference so he wont bolt for a job like mario ditched us in November. To top it all off, the new deal with oregon would take half of what hes being paid to break contract.

Lots of good programs don't have any national championships. North Carolina, Duke, Wisconsin, etc. As for Oregon always losing in the spotlight, if you were actually being genuine you would recognize how this years Oregon team is different. They may not win, but they are playing the best football they have played in quite a while on both sides of the ball. Oregon's defense has always been its weakness and a major reason why they lose. This year that really isn't seeming to be the case.
