I could be wrong but I'm guessing the second editor uses premier pro or after effects templates from sites like Motion Array or Story Blocks. Not a criticism, I do the same thing. Lots of great templates available and they do save much time.

Thank you Jenn for this comparison, the more you pay the better the service. I use Fiverr, first because they are great for me, I am a KZreadr beginner and whatever they do for me is way better than what I can do. Second, they serve people with a limited budget like me which is a blessing. Please clarify to people that they make the necessary changes the customer asks. And last, they serve as a source of employment to many people. Thanks

One thing about the expensive video is that is totally made from a AE template, not really much effort in making the video besides looking for the stocks videos and placing them correctly at the placeholders, same for the text. I know this because I make videos like those for much cheaper price to grow on reviews on fiverr.

That is exactly what i was thinking, but honestly, this lady doesn't notice that, I doubt she even understands you can use pre-made AE or PR templates. Being a Video editor I understand that my clients deserves a custom made video not just an AE template.

Wow they charged $80 for templates they get from a subscription and their content probably all looks the same for each client. Stock footage was better but they are under cutting real editors!

Jan, thanks a lot for all your videos. I am very new to all these animation videos. I need an animation software that i can use to create training videos and presentations for students and business professionals. Which one do you recommend - Doodly or Doodle Maker ?

Fascinating! Great video.......! A handful of questions, if I may... 1) The Andronic Team video. From your experience, what software do you think (guess, even) he was using? For the editing? And particularly for the graphics? The reason I ask.... I am a teacher (of adults) placed online as a result of the pandemic. I'm researching ways and means of creating short interesting videos to support language teaching; so I need versatile ways of presenting text. (Your reviews of video makers are helping me establish a baseline). 2) I notice that the presentation on these videos is rather different from your recent look behind-the-scenes at video making in your professional studio. Do I take it that for these - almost fireside - chats you have quite a different MO? 3) It would be interesting to learn at some stage how you arrived at where you are now. Did you have professional training? Are you totally self-taught? I hope this question is not too intrusive; feel free to pass this question by - I will quite understand. By the by, I liked the goofy young man! I assume he was a newly-wed husband, thrilled at getting his first home..... and I thought it was cute. But, yes, there was quite a difference in the results!! Might be nice to see what results you get when you commission a voice-over....

Hi Jen, you’re simply amazing. I’m wondering if you can help me with something. I have a 3 hours of video tutorial of me and my trainee. I want to give it to someone on fiverr because i dont have the time. I’d like them to edit it and condense it into say 10 clips of 10 minutes. By editing I also mean them decided when to use animation, text etc with my voice over rather than than just showing me and my trainee all the time. Is that possible on a platform like fiverr or am I asking for the almost impossible? I’m just so busy that I don’t have the time - any other ideas if not fiverr? I don’t have a big budget either. Thanks.
