I know quite a few Boyz in the UK. Look up hmb UK or UK armored combat. There's quite a few fighters out that way

Refs should prolly wear a helmet and have a shield in case someone lets go of a sword and it accidentally goes flying. Even like a baseball helmet with a front face cage.

I agree. Unfortunately we don't really have many dedicated refs. All of us fight, we just take turns. Sometimes it doesn't go well.

What camera/gimbal do you guys use to make these? I'm training over at the Knights Hall in Nashua NH, and do video work for a living, but you've totally nailed a really refreshing and cool way to shoot these fights, it's dynamic and really intense while showing the full matches! I'd be thrilled to be able to do something like this for my local teams

Thank you! It was a friendly hit. He took the hit just fine. Didn't want to take another so he went down. That guy is a beast though. In a tournament setting he could take 10 of those and shrug them off

Bonus round. Both fighters use Pickaxes. **popcorn** (just kidding dont kill eachother)

We don't really brag about it if we do bleed. Nobody really cares 😂 the guys that care about blood are usually the least skilled fighters
